why virtual gravity nano??
« on: February 14, 2011, 06:49:19 AM »
why basically re-release the virtual gravity when it was still available?   I am probably one of many that was praying this release was going to be in the area of a storm paradigm. I wish the paradigm would be brought back, with mabe a little different color(even though i love the original color).

Why?

Easy.  Because of several reasons.

#1) Nationals is coming up.  Bowlers are looking for a ball that has traction on the plastics in Reno with heavier volumes in the track area.
#2) It hooks. A lot.
#3) Storm now has two current line balls(Marvel & Nano) to try and corner the market for "hook-in-a-box" bowlers and heavier volume pattern tournament bowlers.
#4) Same reason little boy doggies lick their wieners-'cause they can. The VG didn't needed to be shelved but current marketing tells Team Utah if they release anything remotely close to the VG it's gonna be the most popular ball in Nevada and beyond for the next five months.  Heck, it's gotta be somewhat close to a VG 'cause the scent is even the same...lol!

This is NOT a repeat of the VG. Cover is a definite upgrade.

I hear ya', Jeff.  I was merely referring to the look/smell and the premise behind the release.

If you are looking for something to replace the Paradigm, get the Anarchy.  In my opinion the Anarchy is a newer (and better) version of the Paradigm.

You can easily decode what a Storm product is by looking at the serial number, as well.  It will contain the letters within the serial number that corresponds to it's product number listed on their website.

FYI, the color scheme is very close.... and you do know not every ball looks the same!!
im sure there will be a few nano's that look more like the orig VG and some VG's that will look close to the nano....................

It's a new release...Doesn't matter how great a ball was...After a certain period of time a new model must come out...
The Mission was one of the biggest selling balls out last year for Ebonite, yet a new Mission 250K has been released...

The Virtual Gravity had an extremely long shelf life...One of the longest running balls in recent history...Yet after a certain period of time, sales of any ball will slow down...Consumers today are trained to believe that New is better...

Heck even Titleist has released a new and improved version of the Titleist Pro V1' golf balls...

And with just about most new HP releases, they usually improve the cover stock or the core...
