Why did the Eraser Banshee not get any love from this board???
« on: October 18, 2006, 07:13:55 AM »
Its one of my favorites...killer on medium and lighter or when mediums break down.  (http://www.stormbowling.com/products/balls/archive-ball.asp?ballid=189)

The Fired Up is definitely on the rise on my list as well...and its getting better with age!

Many of storms mid price balls dont get enough attention. The banshee series has always been in the shadows of the X-factors.

I still have and at times use Screamin Eraser Banshee (high polished) on believe it or not, medium - light-heavy oil!

I've seen the Diablo look great in our wet dry center that's pretty dry...and BUT long(figure that out)..  I've also seen the screamin banshee tear it up!

Funny I have a Flash Force...same core...different cover...strong but not so good for me!  But I'm going to change surface and see.

The Eraser Banshee was monsoon pearl.  Not one of the new covers that is sweeping the storm balls recent success(reactor).  BUT some loved it on the right shot!

Another great Storm ball that fell by the waist side was the Depth Charge.  That ball has such a predictable roll and was great for med-light.

I have and still use Regularly my Eraser Ragin' Banshee.  I find it has a much smoother arc than my Passion.  I have them drilled very similar and I do not need to change my throw too much when going from one ball to the other unless it's really Oily.  My Ragin' doesn't "flatten out" unlinke my Passion.  It's always a continuous arc.

I use this ball all the time as well as my Recharge.  I shot my 3rd - 300 with this two weeks ago (keeping with the br.com tradition of bragging about scores :-)  ).  The XXXTreme I have is also pretty good however I know it is an oiler and all that but I have only had good success with it on fried back ends where I can just wing it and let the backend do the work.

That ball is still my go-to ball. Love the banshee and it seems everybody else doesn't.
