The Rapid Fire handles much more oil
than the T-Road Pearl. The Rapid Fire
is clean up front and strong on the
back. If you like your T-Road Pearl
you wiil like Rapid Fire. I could use
the Rapid Fire on the Shark pattern.

no i own a rapid fire solid and i love the ball. i am just in need of a weaker ball cause the rapid fire is a alittle to much for me on a house shot i just wanted to  know how much weaker the troad is. my rapid fire has a light coat of polish if that helps

T-Road Pearl is not a weak ball by any means. It has a strong pearl coverstock in the Pearl R2S. T-Road Pearl and Rapid Fire Pearl are very similar in reaction. I'd say the T-Road Pearl might give a little more mid-lane reaction because of the core. Rapid Fire Pearl is all skid/flip with the Twin-V core, the Inverted FE2 has just as strong a backend reaction, but a little more mid-lane.

Rapid Fire solid will be able to handle a little more volume than a T-Road Pearl because of it having the R2S Solid Coverstock. To me the Rapid Fire Solid and T-Road Pearl are great compliments to each other

Yup, I gotta agree with SVstar34, the TRoad Pearl is one agressive ball . I had the TRoad Pearl when I was throwing 16lbs but I had to drop to 15lbs last Febuary but the TRoad Pearl was and is a fine piece of equipt.

I have not thrown the rapid fire pearl but I do have the Black Window Pearl which I have drilled the same way as I did my TRoad Pearl and that would be with the Pin over the bridge and in the middle and at least for me the BWP

was not as agressive as the TRoad Pearl but remember YMMV. Also, I do keep my BWP very polished.

I've been using a RFS the last few weeks and can say it is a real "hoss", it shows as much total hook as a few other solids with the same cover. The polish just makes is clearner in the front and more angluar off the spot. Never threw the T-Road so I can not comment on it, the RF series is one heck of a line of equipment.
