Title: Trifecta Question
Post by: Locke on May 27, 2008, 01:17:20 PM
I just got my hands on a Trifecta and I was just wondering if this is a high load particle. It seems to really give and early roll. The earliest of all my equipment.

I have the overseas version of the Trifecta called "Perfecta" & that baby does roll earlier than my Attitude & my Special.  It's a fun ball to throw, but it's gotta have the right conditions.  It's a solid particle, you're right.  It has a matte finish.  Here's a link if you need.

I know the Trifecta is a particle but BR only has that no load.

I edited my 1st reply.  It's 800 Matte Finish.  I don't know if it has the load though.

Here's Storms link:  http://stormbowling.com/products/balls/archive-ball.asp?ballid=195

SFA/LT= Specialy Formulated extremely Agressive coverstock  LT must equal Light particle load.  Just my guess.

I don't know about load....but on our local shot it was a dog as it bit too early.  Usually indicative of a heavier load.  We have had many  particle storm balls really tear it up including the Core LRG.  A particle and the Ace.

I still believe the ball is a very good ball on the right conditions.  (Didn't some guy throw a 897 with it?)

In our area the similar cored  but reactive Vertigo a solid without particle outperformed.

Thought not good in our area I hear the Trifecta and Double Agent were sweet on heavy heads and mids

According to Storm's official info it has a light particle load, its coverstock is called "SFAâ„¢ LT  Solid Particle", and the LT stand for light loads (MT for medium, XT for extreme etc.).
