Invasion -vs- Virtual Gravity
« on: July 15, 2010, 07:20:05 AM »
Hello Stormers
I currently have and love my Invasion, however, does anyone have in their arsenal the Invasion and Virtual gravity?

I am thinking about getting the Virtual Gravity and putting a different drill pattern on it or would that be a huge overlap?  Thanks everyone,  Jake

Is everyone afraid to comment? LOL

Anyways, I have both, VG has the pin 4 3/4 (above fingers) from pap and the Invasion is 5 1/2 (above fingers) from pap and the mass is in about the same spot on both. The Invasion comes off of the spot a little harder so I opt for the VG when I need a slightly earlier and smoother move. But when I want to wheel it, the Invasion comes out and makes it rounds!

Assuming the same surface and layout, the Virtual Gravity will be longer and harder on the back, with the Invasion earlier and more total hook by a couple of boards, in my experience. Depending on layouts, there could be a reason to have both in a tournament arsenal.

Hmmmm, thanks guys,  I think I will order the VG. Btw, I have the HyRoad and I find that the ball is a monster on the backend...just sick!
