Looking for Skid/Flip.

Which will be the best ball in the market for medium-heavy oil?

I have always had the impression that Storm has skid/flip balls. I know it all depends on drilling, surface and delivery, but most that I have seen are skid/flip.

But for medium I would go with the Shift, medium-heavy Attitude Shift. Both balls would work well for both conditions as long as they are drilled correctly.

These are just my thoughts...

I agree w/BOWL119.  I use the regular Shift almost exclusively on med. to med light oil.  I will bring out the Attitude when it seems they oil heavier.  Both balls seem like they just finish stronger than other balls I've thrown.

Polish any of those balls and youll get plenty of skid/flip.  I am thinking about polishing my Attitude Shift because it has been too much ball for the conditions in my league the past 2 wks.

I would say that the domination or attitude shift would be best for med/heavy oil if u want skid/flid. But imho on med/heavy you should use a smoother rolling ball because with a skid/flip ball on heavier oil you have alot less room for error than with a ball thats more early rolling and smoother. Again thats just my opinion.

yea i guess....but i havent really learned how to play a smooth arc....i am right handed and i start on my very right........once again...just started bowling..

Being that you are a beginner, I would suggest, if I may, that you learn proper execution mechanics (proper stance, proper pushaway, good timing from the beginning-whether a 4 or 5 stepper, proper delivery, good balance at the line, good follow-thru, proper lane play, spare shooting tactics, staying cool, calm and collected-especially when not faring well, etc.).

You probably want to get in there and hook the ball like many others that you most likely see; it may take a little while for that to happen.

I actually believe that you are better off learning how to bowl with a ball that doesn't do much, and when you are able to make that ball work well for you, you will then be able to perform "magic" with the new-fangled hook in the box equipment that's out there these days.

Find a good coach, learn, and be patient; Rome wasn't built in a day.
