Title: Tropical Vs. Big hit

I have a Big Hit for dry lanes and really it is one of my favorites when used on the right condition. Was wondering how the Big Hit compares to the tropical line? Is the tropical a step up in aggressiveness from the big hit? Would it be worth it to have both or do they overlap too much?

A four piece core can't hit?

Hammer 4D....that could hit!

I'm a big fan of the flashpoint and think that the Eraser Banshee must be pretty long and strong too same core!

I have been looking into a weaker ball then my HotRod. Even with the weaker core and coverstock and my weak drill(i think its 5.5 by 5??), it is still my 1st out of bag. It tears up the freshshot.

Anyways when the lanes break down this ball is to much and when it seees any carry down it gets over/under.

I was thinking of getting a tropic ball or c300's hi flare urathane

The Tropical hits just fine and rolls very nicely for a cheaper ball.
Much better dynamically than the hits.

My tropical fits in to my arsenal very well on shorter patterns and beat up patterns on wood and synthetics.
It goes a little longer than my hotwire and is cleaner through the heads but makes a very nice move on the back. I have never had any problem with it not hitting well.(generally speaking if it hits poorly you are matched up right.)

I can say without a doubt that the Tropical rolls through the pins quite nicely having just picked one up myself.  I could do without the Ocean Breeze scent, though.
