Title: vertigo= a welcomed addition
Post by: TECH SUPPORT on December 30, 2005, 02:56:34 PM
I've had my vertigo for a month now and have been wacking them at the local level with it. Tonight I had another descent night with it and schooled some local hacks to the tune of 813. 267,278,268. Im only averageing a high 220 in this place but it is a high scoreing center and a lot of local hot shots with inflated averages bowling tonight were suprised to see the great reaction i had with it on such a spuratic condition tonight. Tubed mids with what seemed to be floating backends and good carry if you hit the pocket. The vertigo had a great read through out the lane and I couldnt concieve anything less than a strike when i executed the shot. I started off with flat ten then a double and then horrible tugg that went high wich left three pins standing. Spared it up and went sheet to the tenth frame second game & to my dismay i left back to back blower 9 pins, third game started off with turkey then hello mr 9 pin again spared it up and went to the eleventh to where I left a 10 pin. I dont know why but I have always liked the way storm equipment rolls for me. I need something for lighter oil to use at the other house i bowl maybe a fired up would foot the bill.

I just bought a Vertigo about 2 weeks ago, and my game has been increased greatly. I used to bowl with a Brunswick Monster as my main ball, but now it's my spare ball. The Vertigo is great, it's very forgiving and when I hit the pocket, I REALLY hit the pocket. Before with my Monster, my high series was around a 625 and a high game of a 259. Since I got my Vertigo, I have thrown my first 700 series (a 711) and I've thrown 3 250s. My average was around 175 with my Monster, once league starts up again I think I'll be around 185-190 with my new Vertigo. Only problem is that the area between the finger inserts was damaged by the something while bowling, and now I have to get it repaired.

Once the oil becomes a bit lighter, I go to my Brunswick FuZe. And if that's still not fitting the bill, I throw my Monster with a slower speed.

Yea the vertigo does have a good hit to it and also hooks a little bit more than i like but it is the best ball i have thrown in a while. I just need to find a ball or drilling that will let me square up more at the other center because the inside swing shot doesnt carry there.
