I'm thinking of adding either one of these balls as I'm dropping down to 14 lb equipment so I am looking for some opinions here as I need a ball that gets through the heads cleanly and a strong skid flip move to the pocket. Presently, I have the following 14 lb'ers: Virtual Gravity, HyRoad, and Pluto. I just want to round out my arsenal with a true pearlized ball. I'm also considering either a Fast or 2Fast so any feedback on those balls would be helpful.

While I haven't thrown the Nomad Pearl (or seen one thrown - I have the Dagger), I own the Victory Road and it is simply 'WICKED'. Not knowing how extreme of a skid/flip reaction you're seeking, but the VR is very strong off the spot with excellent continuation. I've mine drilled pin under ring (moreso towards the bridge). Glides thru the heads. Reads mids well while retaining enough energy to provide a strong move. Will provide a picture when I get home this eve.
Looking at what you currently own (listed), I'd say the VR is equal or slightly above the Hyroad (IMO)
Hope this helps

The Nomad line is one of the most underrated line of bowling balls ever in my opinion. I havent thrown the Dagger, but the solid and pearl are excellent! The Victory Road looks like an excellent ball too, you wont go wrong with either!

Not trying to brag here or anything but I threw my Nomad last nite, all three games to the tune of 705! never missed the hole once, and all makeble spares.
Guys on my pair were using Infections, 250K, 718A, and various Brunswick pieces. I used the Nomad all three games, and each guy on my pair went through two or more balls all nite long.
You can't go wrong with the Nomad line.

I would go with the dagger if you are looking for a true skid flip reaction.. otherwise the vr is very close just not as much length... and not as dynamic down lane... another option is the infinite theory... which is more overall then either of them but is truly awesome on the backend!

I have both the Victory Road and Nomad Pearl drilled similar and I find them to be a great compliment to each other. The Victory Road is a monster of a ball for me and moves towards the pocket harder than anything else I own. I find the Nomad Pearl to be weaker, but much more controllable. I'm finding that I start the night with the Victory Road and finish with the Nomad Pearl once the VR gets too out of control.

I do not have the Victory Road but I do have several Nomad Pearl pieces. The Nomad Pearl is a GREAT Reactive Pearl! I used it last night on the Earl Anthony pattern. As mentioned I do have the VR, so I cannot comapare the two but I have to say that the NP is not a weak ball. Not weak at all!! And the NP ball in my hand, all that I can say is look out when I throw it for flying pins pieces that will be in the air!! Wham-O!!!!!
