Stronger: Prodigy or Virtual Energy?
« on: March 23, 2011, 10:15:03 AM »
I have a virtual energy as of now with a prodigy waiting to be drilled. I'm a lower to medium rev bowler gaining revs as I learn the snap at the bottom. I'm looking to drill them fairly similar. Just wondering which I should expect to be stronger out of the gate.

In oob condition with the same layouts, I found the Prodigy to be sooner and more archy, and the Virtual Energy to be later and more angular.  With the same surface, the Virtual Energy was the stronger ball.

I stone 8s and 9s like its cool...

I agree in general with E. evil, but in my experience the VE will be cleaner thru the heads then the Prodigy, with both at the same surface, due to the ETM in the cover of the Prodigy. For my game, I even had the OOB Marvel cleaner thru the fronts than the OOB Prodigy, although I seem to be in the minority on that one.

Hope this helps,

Joe

CB your not the only one who has had that concept with the prodigy. I get the same thing. Had the same thing happen with the dimensions.
