Title: Watching the Shift
Post by: brmcm15 on March 05, 2007, 07:04:46 AM
Maybe Its was just PDW but his shift didn't look like it had a lot of hook potential? or was It the lane conditions?

From what I could tell watching on TV he was play about 22 at the arrow out to 10 at 43 or so feet and bring the ball back on the US Open shot. Thats alot of hook.

He had a really tame drilling on it though.  The pin was right above his bridge, and the cg was just about, or might have even been right on his axis.  I'd like to see the ball that hooks like a beast with that layout . .

He also was not grabbing it at the bottom like the others, so this controlled the hook as well. Looked what happened with the others, they were all flying high, and not hitting pocket, unless they were perfect.  PDW through it so well, he had a few boards on the toughest shot they pretty much ever bowl on...Way to go PDW, get another victory, so PDW and Storm will be Bowler and Bowling ball of the year....
