The pictures from the Shark Championship are up on PBA.com. I was going through them and noticed a pic of Wes. He looks to be throwing the Reign. Whats your opinion. Its the 9th picture.

It looks like a Reign to me.

I do know that Storm was allowed to throw Roto Grip and vice versa during the WSOB. Same thing with Ebonite International staffers, they could throw any of the four brands (Hammer, Columbia 300, Track, and Ebonite).

It makes sense because during a Mutant Cell seminar someone brought this kind of a question up, and the reps that were there said Wes threw the Virtual Energy and the Reign a lot, so I guess it makes sense.

Happy Thanksgiving!

At the WSOB Storm followed what Ebonite did and let they're staffers throw the related companies equipment.

he said he could only throw Ebonite. That Hammer may be owned my the same people, but they are still ran as independent companies. Hey I could be completely wrong, but that''s what I was told.....

That would be specified by the particular contract that your driller had.  If it says he only throws Ebonite, he only throws Ebonite.  What Storm and Ebonite did during the WSOB for their national staffers has nothing to do with the particulars of a contract with any other staff members.

I went to the Mutant Cell seminar and Jeff Carter said that the big E decided there staffers could throw anything under the Kentucky umbrella, so Storm/RG followed suit for the WSOB. At that time, he didn't know if they were going to allow it on the west coast swing in January.

I have a pro shop deal because of our Storm/RG volume that we sell and it is for anything in the Storm Products line (Storm or Roto Grip). My rep said they were looking at changing some of the staff contracts for 2010 and being able to throw both product lines has been discussed at length.
