What Diff between 2 drilling layout ?

I want to know what the differences between 2 drilling layouts for same ball Rapid Fire Pearl

my first impressions if im right, this first layout give me better control. Second layout hook little more and little more angular backend

First one (i have it in bag) :

cg = center gravity

depending on what lane condition and release you have yes and no.  The first one would be a little sooner than the second one but not as continuous.  The second one would go a little bit further before hooking but not roll out. like the first might.  2nd one would be better for opening up the lanes and the first one would be for playing direct or for sport shots.
