I have always struggled with over/under ball reactions on house patterns. I have a rev rate @425 and get around the side of the ball. My axis measurements are 4-1/4 x 3/4 up.
The iQ nano was the best ball for blending the wall out and still having enough to get to the hole. I attribute this to the monster cover with a small core. Its the best of both worlds for me .... and they killed it.
I don't see any replacements out there in the Storm or Roto line ....... am I missing something?

Maybe...and this is a stretch..the Show Off drilled with a large VAL angle.

I actually agree. The Show Off definitely has more backend than the IQ Nano, but monster cover with smaller core

Maybe an IQ Tour Solid with more surface and a more aggressive layout than what you have on your IQ Tour Nano?

There's a pretty good difference between NRG and R2S. I think of still go Show Off with a stronger/smoother layout

I have had an IQ Tour Solid and an IQ Tour Nano with the same layout and for me there was not a lot of difference between them. I was actually disappointed in the Nano in that there wasn't more of a separation in reaction when compared to the Solid.
With that said, I have no horse in this. I believe a Show Off could work too. Just giving the OP another avenue of thought as there are no perfect solutions other than finding and drilling another Nano...

Share a similar issue and favor equipment that blends wet/dry for THS. I've rolled all the IQs and love the IQTS and agree i didn't see much difference with the Nano. I was hoping to replicate the original IQ wasn't available long.
Not that I need a stronger ball than the IQT, thoughts on Hyroad Nano for OP? Never rolled one but seems like it would be a better roller than the IQT.

One of my wife's favorite balls was the IQ Nano. The HyRoad Nano is her new love. Don't think you'd be disappointed in that one.

I assume it'll lope down the lane a little longer before making it's move in comparison to the IQTN. But it is the same cover, so that wet/dry blending characteristics will probably still show through.

Characteristics wise, the Show Off definitely would be your best option.

My iq nano was a lazier regular iq tour. No thanks!!!
Hyroad nano should be an iq nano with the ability to actually cover boards!
Hyroad nano is my vote!
