Title: Would a Phase 2 be a waste?

I know the Phase 2 is a proven workhorse ...  I have too many balls as it is ....

For big sym solids I have:  Marvel-S, Idol, Idol Helios, Zen Master.

I don't use them all obviously. Depending where I am bowling I'll bring 1 maybe 2.  The Marvel-S & Idol are pin down and Helios & Zen Master are pin-up. 

Would a Phase 2 be redundant, or let me simplify?

No, Phaze II too similar to what you have.
