Title: XXX Extreme vs Vertigo

I am thinking about buying a Vertigo to replace my XXX Extreme but from what I have heard both balls will give about the same reaction on Heavy oil. For anyone who has thrown both balls is there a big enough difference to make the change?

The Vertigo is much stronger than the XXX Extreme .For heavy oil the Vertigo is a must have ball.

I'm not sure if anyone has experience their Xtreme dying, but mine is DEAD.  It won't hook in Heavy Oil.  I'm currently trying Hook It Again to see if I can bring this ball back to life.

I've completely lost faith in the Xtreme, and I'm looking at two bowling balls to replace it: Vertigo and the Hammer's The Real Deal.  I've heard both have really good reactions in Heavy Oil.  I'm kinda leaning towards the Real Deal for my new "go-to" Heavy Oil ball.  I won't say I won't get the Vertigo.  But if I had to pick now, I would go with the Real Deal.

Is there any difference to the hook shape on these 2?  I've not thrown or seen either one thrown, but I'm curious if one is more "flippy" than the other.
