Hot Rod mini Review
« on: July 16, 2004, 10:40:30 AM »
Was bowling on a flying backend condition and wanted to start dominating.

Ego drilled (normal) for me about 4 1/2 pin to pap was too much.  Sonic X pearl drilled stong 3 3/4 pin to pap, was just a touch too little!

Wanted to slot it!  Took a Hot Rod and it is ALMOST just right!  Except for one thing!  Drilled it 5 X 4 with a stabilizing weighthole.  Ball is just too long and then has a good backend when it finds dry.

If only I had drilled like my Sonic X pearl it probably would have been as the little bears said, "JUSt Right".

The core is spiffy one with a nice move, just drill it right stupid.  I tried my Hot Wire cousin the Walter Ray drilled stong on the shot and with a similar speced core to the Hot Rod/Wire combo it WAS, JUST RIGHT!

REgards,

PS will try a light scuff with a white pad to see if surface will give me the right look.  Failing that a Sonic Boom is coming in with the Sonic X pearl drilling to save the day!  Then one week after that they change lanes from Wood to Synthetic!  He He!
