Triple X Factor, any thoughts/comments?
« on: July 06, 2004, 02:37:05 AM »
Well I got one used off ebay pretty damm cheap, and it arrived today. Its really not as strong as I thought it would be. I had to play like 10 to 5 with it. I think it also has to do with the drilling. Its drilled pin under ring, with the CG swung about an inch and a half from grip center, and about 3/4 of an inch down. The RAD is like an inch right and down of the thumb, or around there. Its also got a weighthole, I think Im gonna get everything plugged and redrilled stronger. Any suggestions? Think a stonger drilling will get it to move a bit more?

Sorry to hear that....just got mine on site from PJR300 and first league out shot 288/725 with it. Great reaction in the midlane and very readable. Definately a compliment to my Deuce which is stronger. I would suggest a stronger drilling depending on your style and the condition for which you intend it for.

The thing you have to remember about the xxx is that the block is really stronger than you might think. I have 3 of them and the one that amazes me the most is the one with the pin under my middle finger. If I am not careful I can make the ball check really hard on the back. The blocks are so strong for me that I need to spin the ball a tad bit. Ball still hits great.

The ball is drilled pin under ring, cg swung right and down from grip center. I think it may also have to do with the fact there is a weighthole in it. My pro shop guy said its to take out "bottom weight"??? I dont know. Im gonna have that plugged, get the whole thing redrilled to flip a little more.
