How about a Hy-Road?  It uses the R2S hybrid coverstock.  The Hy-Road core is very similar to Victory Road core.  If you currently have a need for a hybrid cover in that line, I would go that route.

I've been lucky long enough...now I'd like to get good.

I dont think you would see one until winter or later. I would also suggest a HyRoad, I just drilled my 3rd one and loved them all. It's not the newest release but still one of the best. The Nomad Dagger is also a great piece.

thanks. I have a hyroad and a reign supreme. I want to try the fe3 core but I'd prefer to wait for the hybrid cover

You would sure have to think so, and I think Storm followers will expect one and start to request one.  They went the route of T Road Pearl, the Solid, then Hy Road, and this is very much looking at the same route, but the Victory Road Pearl is doing so extremely well that it may be hard for even a hybrid Victory to live up to that one.

The Victory Road Pearl is a great ball, however I did not find much use for mine when I encountered carrydown as the ball would not make the turn.   The Victory Road core with a hybrid cover (Victory Hy-Road) would be an exceptional ball.  The Hy-Road is one of the best balls I have thrown.
