Definitely a good looking, continuous rolling ball.

Man, that ball is aggressive on the back.  I've got a length drilling on my Special Agent (same R2S coverstock as the Attitude Shift, also at 2000 abralon) and this thing still outcorners it on the backend.  I would love to have one of these, but I don't think I ever really see an oil pattern around here where I would be able to use it effectively!

Great vid, Britt.  Thanks!

Nice video!  I like seeing the different oil lengths and cover adjustments.  I like that ball reaction.

That ball looks great. I'm tempted to get one, but I think it'd overlap the gear I currently have. It seems very similar to the Special Agent, but with a hair more length. Does that seem accurate?

Absolutely.  Same exact coverstock and box finish as the Special Agent.  The core in the Attitude is just asymmetrical and designed to go longer and be less "rolly."

The numbers on the core...
Attitude Shift
16# 2.55 - 0.053 (0.017 MB diff)
15# 2.55 - 0.055 (0.022 MB diff)

Special Agent
16# 2.46 - 0.052 (symmetrical)
15# 2.48 - 0.055 (symmetrical)

It's an interesting core though.  I got to throw the Shift and the thing wanted to hook off the lane (ball would not quit).  And with the high MB you can tweak your reaction shape even more (if you knew what you were doing which I don't)...

Dan... that's what I would gather from the numbers too, but the BTM review has the Attitude rated earlier than the Special.  I was wondering how the Attitude would serve as a heavy oil ball (to replace an old V2Particle and Infinite One).

That is surprising, unless they had totally different drillings on the Attitude and the Special.  Given the kind of ball motion I've seen from the Shift, that core seems to get down the lane well.  I would therefore assume the Attitude Shift would have the same nature.  The video Britt posted shows the kind of motion I expected the Attitude to have -- longer than the Special with a more angular movement.

I realize this is a Storm forum, but I am thinking of trying some Storm stuff.  My current gear is Hammer.  I have the Black Widow Solid and the Doom.  I'd like to add to this and possibly even try Storm stuff more.  Just bought my daughter a T Road Pearl, and I've been pretty impressed with that ball.  So far I like what I'm seeing with the Attitude Shift.  I was leaning towards trying either Special Agent or Domination, but after seeing the Attitude...that really opened my eyes.  Would anyone have any thoughts on how the Attitude compares to the Black Widow Solid?  I'm looking to add something that will handle a little more oil.  My BW has served me well, but it seems to have lost a bit.  I have it taken down to 600 grit, and I don't have near the backend it used to have.  So I would like to add and yet expand my arsenal.  I just don't want a complete overlap.  I would like to add a good amount of gap if possible.  Would the Shift Attitude do that?  Or would I better off with one of the other balls I mentioned (Special Agent or Domination)?

A lot depends on what kind of a break you want to the pocket.  The core of the Attitude Shift is different than the other 2 balls you mentioned & has a more sharper break to the pocket.  Dom & Spec. A. have a more arcing break.

Can't help you w/the hammer though.

I am a big fan of the Attitude's shape block weight block system & am currently looking to get that ball also.  Don't get me wrong, I think you couldn't go wrong with either, but I would go Attitude 1st, Special Agent 2nd then Domination.  I actually have a Special Agent in my bag.  I have the regular Shift (same core as Attitude) as my go to ball right now on the medium to light & my Special Agent when we find in practice that the lane guy put down some extra oil that night, usually after someone throws a 300 game the night or week before seems like.  Good luck.
