Likes: When I got word of there being another release of the 505C, I couldn't wait to get this ball in my hands!  With as much success that I had with the original 505C, I knew the new one could only get better!  I drilled this with my favorite layout, 65 x 5 x 40, which puts the pin above my ring finger, and mass bias about 1 inch right of the thumb.  When I first threw it, I knew it was something special.  This ball gets downlane real nice and has a stronger downlane motion than the original 505C.  I would say the new 505C2 is cleaner through the front part of the lane with a bit more backend motion compared to the first 505C and will out hook the original by about 2-3 boards.  This ball will be great for a lot of players looking for a ball they can trust and use as a "Go-to" ball.

Dislikes: I would suggest knocking the OOB factory polish off a little bit as they always seem to be real squirty.

This 505c2 is a little more versatile then the original it allows me to play anywhere on the lane on the fresh or when they start to burn up I just move left and never worry about the carry like all track balls its fantastic. I drilled it pin up above the middle finger this gives me some nice easy length with some pop on the backend the surface is easy to adjust also. For me the original 505c was a condition specific ball but not this one this ball is the first ball out of my bag. Try one you won’t be disappointed

Likes: Just like the description said, "your go-to ball." This was my first 500 series ball and I have to say I didn't know what I was missing out on. I drilled this ball pin above my bridge and kicked the CG out an inch from my thumb w/ a weight hole, what i ended up getting OOB was a very clean reaction through the fronts similar to the 706A and 706T. Mid-lane I saw a lot of control and exiting the pattern with a very strong turn. I did end up knocking the surface off the OOB finish with a 2000 pad and re-polishing it which helped me with the ball not jumping off the spot too quick and giving it a smooth reaction. Last night I shot 278, 300, 280 for 858 and my second 800 this month. I would highly recommend getting this ball and adding it to the track collection in your bag.

I LOVEEEE Anything to do with the Kinetic my all time favorite bowling ball is the Track Kinetic Pearl and the Track Kinetic Energy the roll on those balls is amazing why ohh why they don't make more of that core and cover stock is beyond me.. which is why I bought this ball after searching for anything to do with the track Kinetic line they made and they finally did!!!!! This ball has a nice strong reaction just like the Kinetic Energy very smooth until it hit's dry and bam reacts like it was kicked! I drilled mine pin between fingers with a high pin and kicked out my MB about 3 inches for more control. One of the best balls track has made again.. and if Track IS READING THIS PLEASE BRING BACK THE KINETIC LINE I WILL BUY THEM ALL!!!!!!

I will suggest trying any of the drills from the layout chart Track provides please get your PAP (positive axis point) from your ball driller and follow the layouts.  They may or may not look the same being that it is based off 5” over and 5” up PAP.

The layout that I choose for this ball was drilling #4 on track drill sheet (made adjustments according to my PAP with relation to the wording on the sheet) My PAP 3 ¾ over ½ down 17.5 mph ball speed.

On the THS I used the 505c2 out of box very smooth and even through the fronts, the back end reaction really surprised me I didn’t think I would see a shape like that down the lane.  It is not a jerk of the friction nor a flip it is continuous meaning the ball did not quit and had no problem with finishing through the pins.  I really love the way this ball rolls I don’t have to guess on the movement or reaction, get the ball to the spot down the lane, and allow the ball to do the rest.

On the 44ft sport pattern I was able to see a different ball for me this was the exciting part, the box finish was just to much length (completely understandable 44ft higher volume) I hit the ball with a wet 800 pad.  This is now a completely different ball, reaction, same continuous shape.  The ball was not early at all and I didn’t have to play straight I moved in and played though the third and forth arrow.  I thought I was impressed with the box finish, I was excited about the surface that I applied to the ball and how I was able to keep the ball in play.

Likes: The ball is great I will be getting more.
