The Track 503A compared to the Track 300A has a stronger coverstock and core meaning you can expect to get a stronger hooking reaction from this ball. This ball is great for you league bowlers out there that want to play more aggressively!

Length: 41 Feet

Volume: 25 Ml

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

Track has definitely fit a huge gap I feel they have been missing with this ball.  Throwing it 18.5 MPH off the hand, and a rev rate of 350, I drilled this ball 60 x 5 x 40 which puts the pin above my bridge and the mass bias just right of the thumb.  This ball clears the front of the lane with ease and picks up a roll late in the midlane with a very defined breakpoint.  I hit the ball with a fresh 4000 pad, and that helped smooth out the over/under type reaction you sometimes see out of a polished pearl.  This ball will work well for the player who is looking for a ball when the front of the lane is dry and needs some pop down lane.  This ball for me fit perfectly between my 508A and 300A... It also was a great compliment to the 503T and 503C.

Dislikes:  This ball may be a little squirty down lane out of the box.  If this is the case, I suggest simply knocking a little bit of the polish off with a fresh 4000 pad.

Length: 45 Feet

Volume: Moderate

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): Kegel Challenge Series, Route 66

Layout: 50x5x65

I really feel that this ball is everything it was designed to be. It is very clean through the front of the lane, storing plenty of energy and retaining axis throughout its path down the lane, and coming off the back of the pattern with great shape and hitting power. This ball has tons of hook for the 500 series price point. Much more down lane than i expected to ball to have. I was forced to play much farther inside than I was planning on playing on this pattern, and the ball still have plenty of recovery even if I missed a tough to the outside. I liked that it allowed me to move in with confidence instead of having to play the longer pattern a little tighter.

I think that anyone looking to get a great bowling ball with plenty to offer in down lane motion, without breaking the bank, this is the ball that was built for you. Highly recommended to anyone who likes to see down lane definition without spending too much money.
