- Finish: 500, 1000, 2000, 2000 Abralon Sanded, Polished with Powerhouse Factory Finish
- Core: Modified Legion

- Reaction: Angular
- Recommended Lane Condition: Typical House Shot/Medium to Medium Heavy Oil
- Ball comes with a microfiber cleaning sack with instructions on its use.
- Description: Why a 6 series ball? Track’s R&D Department developed the 607ASE specifically positioned between the 505A and 715A, presenting a level of performance that bowlers are looking for, right between the two. The core is a modified version of the Legion core used in the Track Temper. Extreme Angularity is the strength of the “SE6” GEN1 coverstock, making this ball a dynamic choice for the oil patterns in typical house shots most competitive league bowlers face. Get it now, because there won’t be another 6 for some time.

Dislikes: I am a Track freak, so this it touph. I was patiently waiting for the SE to be
released. I was one of the first to get one, and wish I hadn't been. I can't use it, as its so over under for

me. I have 5 games on it, and have had the ball since it was released. I should have never drilled it, and just

put it up on the wall with the Speical edition part showing.

Dislikes: none to strong

Well to start this ball is way stronger than I ever expected. This ball is srait as an arrow and finally when you believe the ball is never going to recover it makes the most angular move i have ever seen. I love the hit and carry off pocket hits still seem to carry. Over all I would recommend this ball to anyone looking for a extreamly angular movement with better than average carry. One other final thought I havnt had the ball skate on me yet cant say it wont but I havnt had it happen. Ball seems to have way to much movement to have a little oil flatten it out. Well thanks for reading the review hope it is helpful. My specs are in my profile.

I got this ball last night, I was a little worried that it would be similar to the Midnight Vibe I already had, but was pleasantly suprised that it was a much strong ball downlane.  I don't do the whole know the angles and such, however it's pin up, just up and right of the ring finger, stacked with just to the right of the thumb, no weight hole needed.

When I first got the ball found it to be squirty and over under..  so took some advice I saw on the forum had them hit it with 4000, no polish added, and then got a very consistent angular movement in the back.   I am about 15mph bowler, plenty of hand, so was thowing the ball accross 15 at the arrows out to 3-4 at the breakpoint and wham left turn into the pocket.  First 7 strikes after the 4000 added.  Pulled a couple, thumb was a little snug, but through a 236 and 233 for it's inaugural games.  This gave me what I want with a good snap on the back, but it would hold if tugged in to 10 at the break..

Very impressed with what I thought would end up being a copy of what I have..  just blisters the pins whin in the pocket...  left a couple of 4's but no 10's.

BALL REACTION

Length: Very good length. Usually pull this ball out at start of game 3 when my other equipment starts burning up and losing energy at the pocket.

Back End: Very strong as long as I have dry to bump off otherwise ball tends to shoot past breakpoint.

Overall Hook:

Midlane Read:

Breakpoint Shape:

COMMENTS

Likes: Ease that the ball gets through the heads and maintaining energy on backend. As long as backends are clean, ball has excellent recovery. Any carrydown, ball struggles to recover and make it back. In line with other review, if I were to hit it with 2000 or 4000 abralon, ball would be a little more predictable but then I would be duplicating my other arsenal. Leaving OOB, I have a great go-to-ball my third game during second shift leagues.

Dislikes: Color. Track has some unique color schemes. Was initially hoping for this to be my benchmark ball and was very disappointed in the beginning. Once I realized the time and place to use this ball, I have been completely satisfied with it.

Bought this ball in trial to see if it was as angular as they said so i decided to order a long pin around 4 inches and drilled it pin high above bridge and mb is 3 inches right of thumb with a hole in the lower quadrant. First off the ball was the most angular skid flip ball I have ever seen. This ball is way stronger than expected. This ball in my opinion for me was the strongest polished ball I have ever thrown about 5-6 boards stronger than my Mutant Cell Pearl. Hitting power of the ball is great carry is good but noticed some corners and a few 9s. The ball is almost to angular if there is such a thing. My specs are in my profile hope this review woks and helps others.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 38 and 41 feet

Volume: as much as 100 units in the middle of the lane.

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

BALL REACTION

Length: Very long, very easy length

Back End: Very strong on some dry, need some dry back ends for this ball to work at it's full potential.

Overall Hook: Medium

Midlane Read: Not much midlane read, ball is very clean and is best suited to drier fresh and/or broken down patterns.

Breakpoint Shape: Very sharp on the back end when there is some dry.  Almost a spare ball on heavy oil.  Some over/under when the track breaks down and there is still heavy/fresh oil in the middle.

COMMENTS

Likes: Drilled this ball with pin over bridge, 45 X 4 3/4 X 45 (roughly) for you dual angle fans.  Very nice length, for me this ball is great on some dry lanes to broken down conditions.  Great length with plenty of recovery.  My THS had too much oil until recently, and with the pattern change, this ball is awesome.  I can be left of everybody else on the lane, throw right to where everybody else is playing and open up the lane.  High speed players will use this on dry lanes.  Slower speed players will love this ball for the length it gets.

Dislikes: Over/under with box surface on fresh conditions.  Works better on drier fresh, some shorter patterns.

Likes:This has got to be the best ball I have. After I had this drilled to specs and began to use it my scores have improved dramaticly. I am an avid Track user and have been for many years. The 607A SE would be the ball I would  recomend to anyone who wants to make a difference in thier game. It rolls true and has a clean finish thru the pins with massive pin action.

Likes: Clean through the front with a nice angular backend. Best reaction on second shift tournament shots when lanes are really wet/dry with blended backs. I used this ball at our City Mixed Tournament and shot 300-226-236 = 762.

Dislikes: Not good on Medium Heavy to Heavy Oil, Over under with out of box surface due to glossy surface.

Likes:The 607A-SE is the closest Track ball i've had to being "skid/flip" (please note, I have not yet thrown a 508A, 811A-SE, 706A, or 300A) as the very nature of this ball is effortless length with a strong angular motion off the spot.  This ball is ideal for when the lanes begin to breakdown, the head oil starts to disappear, and there is minimal carrydown in the backend - picture second shift leagues, lighter volume Sport and House shots, and games 5-8 of PBA Regionals (assuming you are right-handed...).  I have had a lot of success with this ball during games 3 and 4 of my summer league that uses a modified version of the Baton Rouge USBC OC pattern (see above for short description) as the lanes have begun to breakdown a bit and a lot of the volume that is in the front part of the lane has dissipated.  My layout for this ball is 65x4 3/4x45 which is my favorite layout to use when i'm looking for a "skid/flip" reaction or need to play from an inside angle - despite being a good "skid/flip" option this ball is still very versatile in my opinion as i'm able to play almost anywhere on the lane using either weaker or stronger hand positions, making it a very good benchmark-type ball

This ball caters to either slower-speed bowlers who need helping getting the ball to push through the front part of the lane or bowlers who are looking for a ball that is great on second shift that will let them open up the lane and allow them to "get the ball back from anywhere"

Dislikes: It has been my experience that this ball does not take to surface changes very well, i've only ever had success with the ball being polished - mind you, there are other balls available that are better for the intended purpose of knocking the shine off of a 607A-SE so this isn't exactly a tragic thing, just an observation
