- Description: Truly the best high performance ball Track has ever made, the 919C features an all new core with a revolutionary “HAZE” coverstock. The name of the game: continuation! To make the most continuous mid-lane ball motion our R&D team could produce. Yes, you heard me right…“C” is for continuous not control. The new Edge Asymmetric core shape boasts an awesome amount of mid-lane power, specially designed for mid-lane continuous ball motion. Our chemists have come up with yet another new and stronger coverstock formulation. One that has a rather unique side effect…a unique HAZE to it. Our team can only describe it as a HAZE that will change its appearance from environmental conditions. This HAZE has no bearing on performance, but the look is phenomenal! Some will HAZE more than others and some will change appearance just from using the product. It is truly a unique blend, and we are sure you will agree a spectacular performing bowling ball. We have packed this ball in a modified red poly bag. This is to protect the ball from environmental influences to keep its HAZE appearance. The ball does not need to remain in this bag. It is specifically to protect the ball’s coverstock while in the distribution chain. This is the first time that Track has ever put the coverstock logo on the ball, too. As a reminder, each new ball from Track now includes a microfiber cleaning pouch with instructions on its use. We feel this is a great addition in order to help our customers maintain their performance products.

The ball seems to match up with whoever is throwing it. It is smooth and continuous. It stores just enough energy to carry from missed shots and really drives through the pocket when you throw a good one. Ultimately, carry was fantastic and that's something no one can complain about. Matches up to medium conditions just right for most bowlers.

Likes: I absolutely love everything about the new 919C! I've been a staffer for several years going back to TX and I can safely say that this is hands down, the best HP ball I've EVER had in my hands. Layed out 5x4, the ball gets me fairly easy length and packs a big punch at the pocket. When the ball comes off the bottom of the pattern, you can practically see it rev up and stop... Now...I've seen this plenty of times before, and what usually follows is a 90 degree jump to the left. This is not the case with the new 919C! I get a nice hard arc around the corner and continuation that is positively UNMATCHED. The carry I get with this particular piece is nothing short of amazing. As the night goes on and things transition, I can continue to bump in with this ball and not sacrifice carry. The 919C does not burn up and quit the way the 916AT did later in the night. Now granted...the AT is not a ball that was designed to handle things after they blow open and begin to burn unless you've got some shine to it. Obviously that's where the 920T came into play. The 919C is going to roll earlier and smoother than your 920A, but don't take "smoother" as lopey. The ball does get around the corner, but it is controlled. The overall versatility of this piece is unbelieveable and the cover is very receptive to changes which is a huge plus for the tourney players. To top it all off...this ball looks great going down the lane as well!
This is a potential Ball Of The Year candidate. If you have left Track or not tried Track for any reason, I'm going to sincerely ask you to give us a shot or a second chance.

Once again I'm here to talk about another great ball in the Track Arsenal "919C". Let's start by talking a bit about the 916AT this ball was sick when I was able to throw it do to low units being used in the area. Tho the 919c is what i would call the missing link in the 9 series line, with the surface on it you can still get it to read in the oil but it still in my opinion clears a lot better than any 9 series ball I've thrown. I drilled mines pin 12 o'clock mb 30 degrees just like the 916 and its unbelievable throw the fronts and so continuous down lane I love it! I believe this is a ball you must have for the fresh and definitely a must need for your tournament patterns. The great thing is with the "Haze" its great if you don't have it you should go get it when it becomes available.

Track 919C
First, thanks to Track (Fig) for giving me a 919c in an on-line contest.
Paul, you are awesome. Thanks.
Second, I am not a staffer, pro bowler, nor a paid consultant. I am a 50+ year old bowler who ran a Pro-shop for 15+ years. I am retired from the Pro-shop business at this time. I average in the low 200's.
The 919C is, in my opinion, one of the best balls out on the market at this time. But, like all High End balls, you need to match up drilling, cover prep, to benefit from the technology. If you don't like this ball, you drilled it wrong for your style or you need to change the cover or the pattern you are bowling on. Mine is drilled very simple; pin up, pin/cg on center line, mass bias 2 inches right of center line. I took the ball out of box and put powerhouse factory polish on it prior to use. It shined up easy and well.
Results: I have a ball that gets good length on an ABC white pattern, and a very strong but smooth arc. When this ball hits the pocket, the pins just dissappear off the lane. On this pattern, I have to be consistant with speed and targeting to get to the pocket. It is too strong for this pattern, (for my style and ball speed). It never rolled out on me either.
But,
I can't wait to take this ball to Baton Rouge, It has an awesome roll with tremendous carry.
Great ball from Track, thanks Paul.

COMMENTS
Likes: Clean up front, continuous motion in the mids/backend, good retention of energy on the backend, predictable
Dislikes: None
As an early Christmas present to myself and with the advice of my driller, I decided to pick up a new 919C. Being my second EBI ball, I figured it would be a great compliment to my Storm Anarchy/VG Nano when I need to have a different look on certain oil patterns. As I did with my Nano, I went to the house I played at over the summer since they use Route 66 as one of the main patterns to give it a good test.
Stats: 380-420 revs, 19-22mph speed, right hander, and love playing outside but can throw inside when needed. The 919C is drilled pin above ring finger, 4" distance pin to CG, weight hole at P3, OOB surface
The 919C does not disappoint. Knowing the flat oil pattern, this ball really handled it well. This ball was clean up front, and worked its magic in the mids. Playing up 2nd arrow on this pattern, it provided me with a consistant and continuous hook on the fresh and carried very well in the first few practices I've thrown with it so far. The ball does a great job with pin carry, being better than a lot of the heavier oil balls out there. I didn't run into issues with the ball burning up as I sometimes can on the fresh once the lanes transition. When I did throw a few shots that were high, the ball still retained a lot of energy to help break up and carry potential split leaves. A few times, I was able to send multiple messengers which resulted in X's on the board.
At a different house which has more head oil but friction on the backends, I found it to be very good inside. At this house, I went 25 to 10 and really liked how responsive it was off the dry. Again, the reaction is very predictable and the carry is excellent.
During the few sessions that I have used this ball, only simple adjustments were needed. Compared to other balls of this type, I was able to stick with this ball longer when both inside or outside. That is a huge plus in my book.
I got some great comments from others watching me throw this ball. Some of the comments included that the ball looks great, and they love how hard it hits/carries. One person thought the "haze" effect was pretty cool since it was warmer in that house. Another bowler said he could hear this ball striking from a few pairs over since it was hitting the pins really hard. I love hearing stuff like that from others.
I see this ball fitting in my arsenal right below my Nano and above my Anarchy. The VG Nano still handles heavier oil better than most. However, this ball is better than the Anarchy when lanes transition and is much more consistant with midlane/backend reaction. In addition, I find this ball to be more versatile than many of the medium-heavy oil balls that are available. If you're a stroker, tweener, or cranker, this ball can easily work for you.
Being my second EBI ball and first Track ball, I am very impressed. This absolutely has a home in my arsenal now. I recommend the 919C if you want a predictable ball for heavier conditions but need the versatility of playing multiple lines/angles. I also recommend this ball since it doesn't seem to burn out on the backend once the lanes transition.
Bottom line: the 919C is a great ball. Regardless of brand, it is one of the better pieces on the market right now. Check it out.
