Enforcer
« on: December 31, 1969, 06:00:00 PM »
The ENFORCER is a mixture of the past, present and future. First, Track modified the original Triton Heat core (made it smaller) from the past and added a flip block on top. Track then wrapped the new "Power Rev" core in their state of the art Pro Traction coverstock from the present. This combination of core and coverstock gives the ENFORCER the highest hook potential and most hitting power of any Track ball ever designed. The ENFORCER'S ball reaction truly makes it the ball for the future! The specifications are: Ball Construction: Modified Four-Piece Design; Recommended Lane Condition: Heavy Oil (box finish-sheen), Medium Oil (polished); Hook Rating: 20 (On Track's Ball Reaction Chart) Most of any Track ball; Flare Potential: Medium to High; Core Design: "Power Rev" Technology; Radius of Gyration: 2.487; Differential: .047; Coverstock: Pro Tracktion; Color: Enforcer Red with White logo fill; Finish: Sheen; Pin Placement: 0-5 inches; Hardness: 76-78; Weights: 10-11 lbs. (traditional pancake core design), 12-13 lbs. (Core 2 Technology core design), 14-16 lbs. ("Power Rev" core design).

My apologies to Scott Sterbenz and Mike Broderick for not informing you in my last review that my Enforcer is scuffed up with green Scotch Brite pads, and not in a polished condition.  That is probably why mine hooks lots in heavy oil, compared to other people with the same ball.  I notice that many of them are using their Enforcers shined at least to 600 grit and higher.  I've bowled on flooded conditions for the last  3 weeks in a row in leagues, and shot nothing less than 639. That was while standing about 25, stroking the ball over 13 out to 10 and back.  The guys trying to play the same shot with all kinds of other "hook monster balls" have not been able to get to the 1-3 pocket (I'm a righty).  There are no backends, but my Enforcer still finishes fairly hard.  The other 9 guys on my pair were all right handed, and pointing the ball while standing on 5, trying to get to the pocket.  One guy even said that I must be using an illegal ball!  Hahaha...imagine that!  We all average between 190 and 212, so I think there's at least a little bit of knowledge among us. Two final notes:

1. You must stroke the ball in oil,and not throw with too much speed.

2. When you stroke it on flooded conditions, the pin carry is great

  when you hit the pocket.

I'm just surprised to hear someone say that the Enforcer does not

hook much. Hooks more than any reactive or particle ball I've owned, and I've had several of them.  I hope this review helps someone. Good bowling to you!

I bought the enforcer about 3 months ago and boy it is the strongest ball in my bag and I'm not one to go and rev up a ball I have any where from 14 to 15 revs on it . And this ball was great for the condition that went a little bit further down . I had it drilled 41/2x4 and the layout allowed the ball to set up earlier and I sanded it to 600 grits . What can I say the ball is the strongest I have in my bag . This ball gives the high performance stroker a ticket to oily lanes . I bowled a tournament just reciently and all the right handers were playing aroud ten and out to like seven or six. I brought out this ball and ended up playing about 16 to 8 and I only could use the ball for one game becaus when I went to the next pair the ball set up way tooo early.

My Enforcer is a pin in.  I have this ball drilled 4.5x5.  A very weak drilling indeed.  I thought is was a weak drilling, my driller said it was weak, but The ENFORCER has something else to say.  This ball hooks-hits- and carries like a dream even in it's sheen state.  I could not imagine this ball with a strong drilling and the sheen taken off.  If you don't have the oil, stay away from this ball.  On a fresh league shot I will stand on 20, lay the ball over the 15 out to 8. The ball gets down the lane very good and makes a hard turn towards the pocket and hits w/ a thunderous sound.  Overall I would rate this ball a 10.

This ball is for OILY LANES. I never had a ball that can hook on heavy oiled lanes like this. Drilled it up around 11 o'clock, cg swung out to get early roll, and thats just what it did! thanks to Sixto Sengson of bowlmart for drilling it up for me! Compared to the contender, this moves around 3-4 boards more. A 9.5!

i know this ball has been out over a year and probably isn't even in tracks arsenal any more, but i drilled it up yesterday. i run a pro shop and drill a lot of balls over the course of the year and this is the 1st track i've drilled for myself in quite sometime.drilled the ball yesterday, been challenged by a lane condition w/ extreme wet/dry, so i drilled the balll w/ a 2 3/4 pin and 2 3/4 cg [i have 90 degree axis tilt and 17mph speed witch adds to this problem, skid in the oil and overreaction in the dry}statics ended up zero top and finger w/ 1\2 postive side. took it out and bowled a 300 w/ it the 2nd game last nite. i am SOLD, guess i should have drilled some track stuff before now.

My eforcer is drilled with label leaverage, with the pin juse to the right of my ring finger.
The ball react great and hitts very well, it is a good ball for oil when it is dull and if I polish it it works well on dry lanes but this ball is realy hard to control on patchy lanes.
A very good ball 9/10

the enforcer, the ball helped me get my first 600 series( 613 on june 13, 2001), at rockville centre lanes, where a 600 there is like a 700 is anywhere else.
Now my enforcer is resurfaced and polished and usefull on dry lanes.
pin inch to the right of the thumb hole. i think this ball is a must have. to bad its getting old. itll always be number one for me. Aids me in dry lanes. Was once a soaker, but still getting bettewith age. Pin to the right of the finger holes. Im right handed and a power tweener. Great ball, one of track's best.

I got this ball cheap as it has an X on the label becuase the top weight was pretty low, 1 1/2 oz, 3"pin.

Drilled it approx 5"x5" pin directly over the fingers, and cg right in the middle. Thankfully I did not have this ball drilled strong as it hooks a ton like this, even after polished. It is pretty difficult to get shine out of this ball, I suspect I need some different polish for this coverstock, which is a dirt magnet.

First night 264,269,213 (746) in couples league. The best I've bowled in a while. That being said, I'm not to sure how much I like this ball. Oil is an absolute must, even shiny. The hit is more a heavy thud sounding strike, rather then a sharp "cracking" sound. The reaction is pretty even, need a couple more sets on before I make any ratings. It carries thin hits well, but leaves a ton of 4 pins if on the high side. I'd like to get a little better shine on it and maybe it will save some energy. Any info on particle ball polish appreciated.

Bye
John

Enforcer

Lanes: Synthetic, Oiled about 38-40 last 5 boards medium oil
Lane condition: Heavy Oil to Medium Oil.
Bowling style: Tweener but can play straight up or a deep swing line.
Med. speed, medium revolutions.
Ball: The Enforcer with 2 1/2“ Pin out, drilled 4“ X 3“, CG on the grip mid line, BH 1” past the PAP.

Assessment: I finally got the opportunity to purchase one and I thank God for that. This ball works great on all conditions. On an oily shot straight down and in, on the medium oil shot same line adjusted board for board as the lanes dry out, and on dry conditions you can keep moving left or bring up the speed and this ball just keeps kicken ass.

It also tends to hold the surface pretty good when changing from polished to scuffed up. The only thing negative and I mean the ONLY thing is that it gets dirty fairly easy, but that’s nothing Clean N’ Dull(Simple Green) can’t fix. I am so impressed by this ball that if I find another one I will be purchasing it without hesitation. I’m a league player so I do have alot of games on it already and it hasn’t even given me the slightest hint of diminished reaction.

I can safely say that the Enforcer has truly earned it’s place as one of the greatest balls of all time.
I give this ball a 9.9.

Ball has a 3" pin, it is drilled with pin 1/2" to the right of the ring finger and cg in line.  I have the ball sanded to 1500.

This ball is a little old but it is the best oil ball i have thrown.  It sure beats the colossus.  After about 45 games and the same maintence, i havent had to change the coverstock at all.  Just clean it up with a little 1500 every now and then since it attracks dirt like a magnet.  The difference in this ball and the colossus with the same drilling and cover finish, is that the enforcer gets a lot of length and still a lot of hook.  It has more of a controllable hard arc while the colossus come in flatter.  It can also be used on medium heavy and even on medium oil with a few adjustments.  It crushes, few tens but other than that if you hit is flush, they will fall.

Greatness

Had a dream the other night that I pulled out The ole Enforcer and put some polish to just to see what happens. I have never polished it and gave up on it because we never see enough oil to use it. Dusted it off and polished it up and 256, 222 later I just found my new ball for league. It's a 1.5inch pin don't remember the top weight.Drilled with the pin just under and between the fingers.

I have my Enfocer drilled 5x3 from my axis.  I wanted to get the most out of the backend but a reduced amount of top weight prevented me from certain drill patterns.

Likes: Great ball on oil, out of box surface conquers almost all oil.  There is no ball that hits harder than the Enforcer, not even my AZO or Visionary equipment.  Carry is great on all angles in or out.

Dislikes: The ball attracts more dirt than Clutch attracts women.

After putting some games on my Enforcer I noticed it's very user friendly.  I have only bowled on house shots but there wasn't a condition I couldn't find a line on.  This ball will continue to recover from the dry as you move in deeper with each adjustment.  The only time I'd suggest using another ball is on lighter oil patterns.  I've used this ball with success on second shift used house shots, but needed to play very deep and keep my speed high.  On heavier oil I can also play straight up the arrows with the same success.  The Enforcer is pretty adaptable to release changes between high and low tracks, using whatever for specific conditions.

This ball is a very good older piece of equipment that reminds us Track was great before the Morpheus core came into play.  So good, I bought five other Enforcers for future use.

i had this ball drilled Leverage, it works ok, but once it hits more than medium it just doesnt hook up, it rolls way too long, and just doesnt work. i mean ive bowled good with it, ive bowled bad with it, it just is not for me, i think i might get it drilled a little differenty. like maybe itll work better if i have it drilled for early roll, hopefully it will be successful next time. It hits realllly hard, and rolls strong when its on medium and lower, but it just doesnt have the same type of reaction it oil, it literally will JUST SIT THERE ON like 8 board.

I fell in love with this ball. Found it on the rack in a house and drilled it up label( my favorite drilling). Such a good all around consistent ball on typically short med-heavy patterns. It simply worked everywhere and the read was great. Id recommend this ball to anyone, even given with its age. It did die on me...after 150 games or so games? So it lasted.
