Speed= Medium-high (16-18 MPH)
Revs= Medium
Surface= OOB
For layout I went Pin down to smooth it out, pin is in the center of the finger holes .5" or so below them.
Mass bias kicked right and slightly down.
PAP is unknown but I'm tracking 1.5-2" off the thumb.
Just picked this ball up today and wow. This is by far the most aggressive ball I've seen from track.
My current arsenal includes the 300C,505T,910A,920A,930T. Ive also owned the 916A/T.
This ball blows them all out of the water. Friday night is my driest league I play on, and i find the 910A to be quite snappy on the backend, not necessarily a bad thing (until the lanes start to burn up.)
Threw a few shots with my 910A to feel the lanes out, went to this ball, played the same line, snapped straight off the breakpoint and left two nice splits in a row.
Moved left, put the ball down to about the 5-7 boards and watched the pins fly.
The pin down layout smooths the reaction out nicely, but definitely does not take any power away. This thing obliterates the pin deck when it hits.
It clears the heads nicely with the 3000 grit OOB finish, reads the midlane well and comes off the breakpoint hard and just doesn't stop.
Carried all kinds of things I normally can't with my other 9 series balls.
Makes my 910A look like a 5 series ball.
When the lanes started to burn up I moved left and this ball just kept coming back. This ball lets me open up the lanes more than I usually do and I'm very pleased.
After the league I went and bowled a few games on oilier lanes, same story. 910A wasn't moving enough, went to this and you couldn't wipe the smile off my face if you tried.
Anyone that throws track should have this ball. This will absolutely be my go to ball on Friday nights, I'm gonna try this out on Wednesday as well when they put my oil down and I imagine it will be the same story.
If you're thinking of picking this up, do it. You won't regret it.

So for this ball I went with my go to layout, 65x5x55. I dont know how to put it other than this balls is a monster!!!!!!! For that heavy pattern or someone with a low rev rate, this is your ball. Its so strong and just doesnt stop downlane. i can just keep moving in and the ball hit harder and harder.

COMMENTS
Likes: Everything! This ball is awesome. I has teeth. I have not had a ball that bit that hard early but still had something in the back end. Now on Route 66 I was able to play a little further right and when needed get into the oil with out issue. The ball reads the fronts really nice and you lose nothing in the back end.
Dislikes: Nothing. This ball is great.

COMMENTS
All my stuff is pin below except my Power Machine I wanted to do a couple pin up drillings. The 706T with the box finish is the first ball out on this pattern. I wanted a couple of aggressive layouts for higher volumes that would allow me to get down lane w/surface and still finish strong. The LX 16 is drilled 45 x 4 x 40. I saw very easy length and extreme back end. Looks like I will need to adjust this ball to 2K to calm it down. Ball hits very, very hard
Likes: Monster ball, hits hard. Feels great in the hand meaning easy to throw
Dislikes: Too aggressive for the THS w/this layout

I drilled the LX16 pin up and left it at box finish and plan on using this ball as my skid flip piece. I expected this ball to be very strong on the back end but I am not seeing the flip motion that I was hoping for. My 920A is still stronger. I have added factory shine to the ball in hopes of it becoming stronger on the back end.

Likes: Ball was not jerky at ball. Gave me the ability to play where i need to and still have energy to get the corners out! Very strong through out. Was surprise how easy got through the heads and mid lane with out losing anything

Length: 43ft
Volume: 24.4 ml total oil
Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): 2014 USBC Open Championships Team
First layout that I choose for this ball was 45 x 4 5/16 x 25.5. PAP 3 over 5/8 up 17-18 mph ball speed. Which gives me Pin above my ring finger CG under my ring finger and MB to the right of my thumb about 5/16.
Second layout that I choose for this ball was 30 x 4 1/4 x 45. PAP 3 over 5/8 up 17-18 mph ball speed. Which gives me Pin in my middle finger CG under my ring finger and MB to the right of my thumb about 2 inches.
Both bowling balls were used on a fresh pair oil pattern 2014 USBC Open Championship Team.
The first layout I knocked off the box surface and went 500, 800, and power house factory finish I was able to play through second arrow and the reaction was very smooth at the end of the pattern, I was able to read each shot as the lane transition after many shots in the same area. When I got the ball right of target it would come up behind the head pin or go very light. When I got the ball inside of my target the hold was good which allowed me to go high flush. To see how much I could get out of the reaction I moved deeper standing on 25 looking at target area of 11-8 down the lane about 35-40ft down the lane. With the polish and the layout of the ball it was not strong enough to turn the corner. For me this layout is good to start with on a medium/medium-long patterns and as the transition comes making smaller moves could be beneficial rather then huge moves.
Second layout kept the box surface, for me this is one of the overall strongest layouts, I played the same line on the fresh lane about second arrow and I could see the ball start up much earlier and didn’t stop I went through the head pin a couple times. When I got the ball to the right it would recover without a problem either going light or flush. Within a few shots I moved everything left feet on 25 looking at target area of 11-8 about 35-40ft down the lane. I was able to get the ball right of target and it would roll extremely heavy back to the pocket, staying within my target area gave me flush and high flush shots. For me this layout is good for medium-heavy/heavy oil patterns with the reaction I got watching the ball through the arrows, mid-lane, and how it finishes at the head pin will be beneficial with the moves that need to be made once the transition is present.
Overall both Lx16’s give me that strong heavy roll and readable reaction in respect to lane play and oil pattern. I love the surface adjustments it can take going from box surface to polish the Lx16 doesn’t miss a beat and surely doesn’t lose hitting power.

Likes: For a higher end ball, It is very versatile. Love the I-Core. One of my new fav cores. Reads the mids well and depending on the condition can even play down and in with it. Just shot my first adult honor score with it on Sunday so yeah I love the ball.
