Help me with my overlapping arsenal
« on: March 27, 2005, 01:28:44 PM »
Should have done this earlier, finally starting to get my grip problems fixed though so once I get some money I will be shopping
I have no pics so bare with me. All balls I have left or brought back to box conditions

Heavy oil-Power Diesel
4 3/4 from P.A.P. with the CG stacked under the pin. Ed Gallahger helped me with the layout
Med-Heavy-Eraser Blaze, stacked 3 3/8
Med-Heavy(earlier roll)Animal Untamed, stacked 3 3/8
Med-Thrash, pin under, not sure on exact drilling
Med-Dry- Hex, stacked 3 3/8
Spares-White dot

Yes I like to drill them stacked just incase you did not notice. Helped me when I was a fluffer but I have plenty of revs on my own now. As for my Thrash since I don't know its exact drilling I will just tell you it goes decently long and finishes with a very strong arc, not quite a snap but a very strong arc. Sometimes hard to get a good read with it.

I will definently be keeping the Power Diesel and the Hex, they are both working beautifully where they are. I like to throw my Diesel in med-heavy to because it is so smooth...

Definently think I need to replace my Eraser, me and that ball have simply not gotten along. I'm considering replacing the Animal and Thrash, just depends on what I could put there. I definently need something to go inbetween my Hex and White dot though. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Even if you think there is another ball from a company besides Track that would fit let me know, I'm open to anything. Sorry I can't say more on the exactness of the drillings, I just don't know enough about this stuff.

You could go like this:

Get an original Rule and Xception to go under your Power Diesel, and either a Hexplosion or Heat could fit under your Hex. I would drill the Rule and Xcpetion identical, no matter how you drill them, as the diference in cover will get the Xception down the lane further and flip harder than the Rule for you. I drill almost all of my equipment identical, so I know how different covers/cores will get down the lane.

I would drill the Hexplosion or Heat with a label drill. This will probably get it down the lane further than the Hex, and with your hand, you should be able to get the ball back enough. The high rg of the Hexplosion or the low diff of the Heat will help you out.

Hex,

For the med/heavy position I think the Arsenal Aggressive would fit nicely! The Arsenal Angular would be a good replacement for the Thrash (probably a little stronger). I like the Rule, just as Clint mentioned. It will fit the other med/heavy position.

For under your Hex and above the WD, the Heat is the logical choice.
