(newguy) Phil and Track Fans ... PAPA NEEDS A BRAND NEW BAG
« on: December 28, 2006, 11:00:24 PM »
To Phil and the TRACK FANS,

I NEED A NEW BAG, since all the equipment that I throw is Track I'd love to use a Track bag. However, Track does not offer a 6 ball carrier. Also, I've heard that Track bags ARE NOT the best on the market! Again, only hearsay on that. It strikes me funny that, in my opinion, the BEST BALL COMPANY on the market (Track), would not have the best bag out there.

So Phil here is my question to you: Is Track going to have a 6 ball carrier on the market anytime soon?

Reason being, I'm going to bowl on the PBA East Regional tour this year and I can't use my current carrier.
Donkey is not a registered product for the PBA. Great carrier it has lasted over 15 years and is STILL going strong, but I'm not aloud to use it on tour! So Phil I know that you read this forum and I would like to know if Track is going to have a 6 ball bag by April, if so, my decision has been made!

IF NOT....

Then Trackers I need your help, In your opinion, what is the BEST 6 ball carrier out there?
I've looked at quite a few online, but not seen any in person to make an accurate assessment of any on them, Their Quality, Convenience, and Durability are my key factors. If you could be so kind enough to give your opinions on this, it would be greatly appreciated. The only thing is it must be a PBA registered product, you can find the list here. http://www.pba.com/resources/equipmentSponsors.asp?Type=1
Thank you in advance for your input!

Can't see how people say Track bags suck since they are actually made by KR. But hey I guess what ever floats there boat.  I have a Brunswick 6 ball bag and it held up really well.  Lots of pocket space and everything.  Not been to crazy about the storm pro six ball bags.  Buddy of mine has one and all the clips broke on it.  The older ones though seem to hold up pretty well. Personally though if I where going to get a six ball bag thouhg I would probably get the Columbia 300 one.  Anyways hope this helps

I would say go with the track 4 ball roller and then pick up the 2 ball tote. I find it very easy to carry everything that way.

Hey Mark,

I'd look into the Columbia roller as well.  Only hard part to this is the demand for 6 ball rollers, I sold maybe 3-4 all year, not very high in demand.  If not, you can always do 2 triples (our Premier line is sturdier and stronger).  I saw many of the tour players doing this as I assume it's easier to get 3 balls in your car at a time plus they take up a little less space.  Hope this helps some bud...

Yeah two 3 Ball rollers would be the best bet.

No 6 ball bag in the future. 2 three ballers equal 6.
I can't even imagine launching 6 balls in a year much less carrying 6 balls all at once. ut that's just me.

Happy New year to All.

P.S. The Phoenix is getting closer. Only 33 days to go.

look at the KR Lane Rover 4 ball bag, has more pockets than any bag ive seen, you can also buy a conversion piece to make it a 6 ball bag, that way you can use it as a 6 ball bag for tournys, and a 4 ball bag for the rest of the time, thats what i do anyway, the conversion peice also works for the brunswick 4 ball bag as KR makes it

but if KR makes the 4 ball Track bag, would the conversion piece work on it also?  phil??

here is the 4 ball bag http://www.bowling.com/products/kr-lane-rover-4-ball-roller-black-silver.htm

he is the conversion piece i was talking about http://www.bowling.com/products/kr-6-ball-conversion-kit-black.htm

based on the picture at bowling.com of the KR and this one of the Track bag I would say yes.
The color won't match but that may not be a concern.

Any preview as to what type of lane condition the Phoenix will be for?  The suspense is killing us!  Thanks for the countdown!
