300T

The new 300T from Track gives bowlers a lot of bang for their buck.  With the 2000 out of box finish this is more than a ball to go to when the lanes burn up like the 300C.  This is a strong arcing ball that will be great for the mid length patterns.  Drilled mine with the old school leverage axis drilling.  pin above the ring finger and the cg on my axis with a weight hole drilled through it.  Very smooth reaction yet packs a great deal of punch.  Very impressed with this ball.  For the $120 price range that this fits in it is an unbelievable steal.  Try this piece of equipment.  You will not be dissappointed.

Is this a review or just an advertisement?

Definitely just an advertisement.  But truthfully though, tell me the last time you saw a review from a staffer that wasn't an advertisement?????

If I could ever find one "staffer" that just one time would give me an honest opinion of  a ball that didn't work for the majority of players, I would be a loyal fan to that company for ever.

That hits it right on the head. My pet peeve is when someone is looking for a ball recommendation, the "staffers" will usually jump in and wouldn't you know it, the latest ball from their company is exactly what is needed. It's never last years model, always the new one. Or the one that is coming out next.

there is no bad ball.
some are just more conditional than others.
if i drill a ball and it doesnt hook a ton than its a dry lane ball for me not a bad ball.
i will never right a "bad" review on a ball, cuz if the ball doesnt match up well with me than how is it the balls fault.
there are some dumb people out there who drill balls for the wrong reasons and then right reviews on them complaining about it, which of course makes the ball look bad.

Not sure what the people that read these reviews are looking for.  I gave an honest review about the 300t based on what it did for me.  Of course I am going to "advertise" this ball on here.  It is my responsibility to do so.  I am not afraid to say when a ball is not so great for me.  I agree that not all balls match all players.  I believe this ball will be good for many different styles.  It is a great ball at any price range, especially for the $120 range.  I apologize if a ball had been purchased based on a staffers review and it did not pan out.  All we can do is give an honest opinion on what it did for us.  I love the 300t and would not be doing my job if I did not recommend it.

I agree that there are no bad balls, but if you don't write a review of a ball that didn't match up with your style, because you believe it's not the ball's fault, then I don't feel you're being honest.

No review should bad mouth a ball. It should state how useful a ball was for you If it was of minor use, say that. If it was of major utility, say that too.

If you choose to write ball reviews, you should write it no matter how well it suits your style. After all, that's why people read your or anyone's reviews, to learn how the ball will react if their release/delivery is similar to yours. You compare the ball's drilling and use to balls you already have to let people know how its reaction compares to balls that you have already tested. It is the onlyway  to understand a ball you have not thrown yourself.

If the ball is more or less sensitive to all the variables in bowling (releases, drillings, oil, dry, carrydown, etc) , you should state that. If you don't do the honest job on all balls tested and reviewed, how can people trust any of your reviews.

If you don't write a less glowing report on every Ebonite ball, will Ebonite "fire" you?

Good grief guys, let's get serious. No such thing as a bad ball? Right, and Clinton didn't inhale. For Pete's sake, not every ball performs as advertised nor for the majority of the target audience. Just because I can find someone somewhere, possibly 10-20 percent of the market, for which it works on a specific condition, that's NOT A GOOD BALL for the majority. Balls are too expensive to receive less than an honest appraisal

Stating that there's no such thing does a disservice. And as for "I wrote what it does for me", then please show me a single review, JUST ONE, where a "staffer" wrote up a ball that didn't work for them...
