why not try Simple Green, Alcohol and Water mixed in a spray bottle.  Water cuts the Simple Green, Alcohol provides a quicker drying agent.  Simple Green cleans.  If it's belt marks you're trying to rid of, use this with a little 'elbow grease' and things should be okay.

NOTE:  This applies if you're cleaning by hand.  If you've a spinner, I'd suggest using a cleaning/polish solution (i.e. Clean N Dull)

ooink,

I really do not suggest using anything on a bowling ball unless it was made to clean a ball.

You don't need a spinner to clean a ball well with Clean n Dull or Clean n Tacky. For the Delta you can use Clean n Tacky (or clean n dull) with a grey scotchbrite pad and keep it looking like new OUT OF BOX after every cleaning.

Exactly as Ex said. Other substances can not only hurt the surface, they may alter the surface as well. Would you use rubbing alcohol on your car to clean it....probably not....you use stuff made to clean a car....so why not the same with a bowling ball?
