Slash. This ball is just so reliable.
I was searching for a different look on the lanes, when it gets cold outside carry goes out the window at my center. What I wanted was something that would allow me to square up more, with as little swing a possible. Usually the straighter you can play the better the corner pins carry when it is cold.
I grabbed the Slash (which I put in the bag a few weeks ago and have not used since). I moved 4 boards right from where I was playing with the Arsenal Aggressive. I moved my breakpoint in from near 7 board to about 10 board. My line was 14 at the arrows to 10 at the breakpoint. I had room right and I had a few boards tug area. This ball leveled the pins...no 10 pin standing.
I cannot stress enough how underappreciated this ball really is. I was guilty of it myself. HOWEVER---I will not make that mistake again. The Slash will stay in my bag for a long time to come.

The ball is quite a combo, with that Hex/CrunchTime/Elite core and the Enhanced Super-Flex/PowerPlus Ex coverstock. (Ex, it has to be be for stronger than "mediums"!)

Based on your other post which VERY roughly compares your Arsenal Aggressive with an Absolute Inferno, I'd say the Slash compares 1-to-1 with the Absolute. (But then, with your knowledge of drilling Track's stuff, your ball results are the envy of most of us.)

I would say that the Slash would cover the mediums perfectly. I think that it shines on mediums, does very well on stronger mediums, but it is too much for the lighter end of mediums.
**L** There is alot of rambling up there. I really think this ball is comparable to the Havoc and the Crunch. Another couple of very reliable bowling balls Track has made the last few years.
I wish I had been using the Slash side by side with the fella using the Absolute. I have to think that the Absolute would be a little stronger. I was just suprised at how much stronger the Arsenal Aggressive was with all of the hype that the Absolute gets.
Ofcourse as soon as I get some videos up and running you should be able to see this ball in action for yourself.
