Machine Blem?

Think this ball is a Machine bonanza?  The colors remind me of the machine...otherwise I would have no clue:

Sure looks like the cover...however, it is a Bonanza II, which means not acceptable for USBC use....could be the wrong core was used/wrong cover was poured...

Agreed looks Identical to a machine. Be cool if it was the right core and they accidently put a reactive coverstock on it

Hey Clint, I know these balls are not legal for PBA use, but could you PLease explain how and why this ball can not be used in USBC competitions like Local and national tournaments which I asume would include League play?

It's not on the approved ball list.  That's why.

They probably don't feel like putting significantly more balls through the approval process for the relatively few that come out with the Bonanza label.  Every little run of 10 balls that comes out with the wrong core/cover would have to be approved.  That involves testing and certification by the USBC, a few test balls from various weights.  Cost-wise, it's probably not worth it.

It would be nice if they'd be more clear about the fact that they can't be used in competition.
