Result from Reno using the Phoenix. What do you think.
« on: June 12, 2007, 07:29:46 PM »
Keep in mind that I am a Classified Bowler and this was my first Nationals tournament I think I shot pretty wel, at least that's what my teammates told me. Here are my results.

Event Totals:                      (Just for fun I checked my Rank)

Team        508 series                Team rank        893
Doubles     581 series                Doubles rank     294
Singles     577 series                Singles rank     433
All events: 1666                      All events Rank  203

The Phoenix was perfect for the heavy oil conditions. I had a nice line with an awesome lane reaction. It was hooking when it looked like everyone else was throwing straingt balls.  It saved my butt out there!  I stood on the center dot and threw up the second arrow.  If it went out a bit it still recovered nicely.  I can't say enough good things about this ball.

Quick question. How do you "Cash Out".  Does it go by ranking in the Official Prize Fund list, and can you collect in each event or only is it only in one.  I am confused about this part any explanation would help! Thanks.

Nice bowling there gammabomb. Looks like the Phoenix and your game matched up pretty well for the shot at Reno. I took my Phoenix and had to have the surface adjusted down to 2000 abralon for me.

I bowled on fresh oil all 9 games and didnt have the best look with mine. I could get the ball to the pocket in team in the second game, but didnt carry the 10 pin.

To try and answer your questions, far as I know you can cash in all events where you bowled well enough to cash in. Your ranking does determine how much you will get back, but not till the final scores are posted at the end of the tournament.

Your ranking of 203 in all events means there are 202 bowlers ahead of your scores and so on and that works for the others scores your posted.

Did you bowl on fresh oil at all? Or did you bowl second shift?

Teams was on fresh oil at 2:30pm. One shift had bowled before we did Doubles at 9:30am then singles right after on a fresh pair right next to us that no one bowled on for some reason.  By the end of singles I had to move left after the lanes seemed to dry up a bit, not enough for my partners though.
