Brian's a great guy.
He was very responsive to questions I emailed him, when I was a user of Ebonite.
Knows bowling.
I'm a big Morpheus fan.

If this is true, this would be a good time to print up some of his helpful tips in the Tech Center on Ebonite's site before they remove them.  They're still there as of now.

I am not very familiar with Brian Pursel, but if it is going to take Track to the next level......considering the level they are already at, it would be pretty amazing.

Track's efforts at helping bowlers and "revolutionizing" bowling equipment is unparalleled and maybe this move will put their level at an unreachable height.

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me to the Track family.  I am excited to get on board.  Please give me a couple of weeks to get up to speed with all the fine Track equipment.  After being with a competitor for 14 years, I haven't had the chance to fully learn all the products made here in San Antonio.

Del and the team down here have created an impressive product line, assuming the industry leadership in core innovation.  I have known Del since his days on tour.  I even drilled his arsenal for the 1989 ABC Masters, which he led.  We have been tour reps together and had dealings when he was at AMF and I at Ebonite.  I like the direction the company has gone since he has taken over and will assist Del, Alex, Chuck, and Gus in taking Track to the next level.

Evolutionary. Revolutionary.

Hi All

I was also involved in the staff meeting we had on 9/3 and I am very excited
about Brian coming on board.

One of the topics discussed was a better way to communicate
with the bowlers. With that being said myself and some of
the other Track Staff members will be posting on this forum (if they aren't already)

If you have any questions about Track equipment or other bowling matters feel free to ask me.

I hope to be posting again soon.

JW

Next Level:

I see that your favorite ball on your profile is the V2.  Had a chance to throw the Freak-a-Zoid yet?  I haven't had the chance to compare the two.  Anyone else on here have any feedback on this?

By looking at the specs I kind of figured that these balls were very simular in roll type. I will punch one of these up myself and do a comparison.

I have had the pleasure of working with Brian at Ebonite and I look forward to working with him at Track. Brian is a class act and knows his stuff.

I have thrown a couple of Freakazoids and shot 300 at the regional in Killeen with one. I think they are very simular to the original V2 but have a little more pop at the end. They have tremendous mid lane control and smooth out the over-under reaction I get in a lot of places.

Brian I welcome you to the Track team and Holler at me sometime.

Mitch.

P.S. I will be in San Antonio for six weeks starting next week.

Interesting to see the hype. I was on the Track bandwagon years ago, when they didn't even have a band. I'm just a lonely amateur, but back-to-back 300's with an NRg made me a believer, if it meant being the only Track user in San Diego at the time. Sadly, the Synergy and Assassin made me a non-believer. COlumbia, no glory, then to Ebonite and tried a V2 strong, even worse than the Synergy.
Kudos to the current Track team. I recently bought a used Mutant and fell in love with Track all over again. If you guys keep posting and stay in touch with the JQ Publics on this board, you may just reach and keep the top spot. I'd like to see that. Remember, each of us here that learns the game and performs in league, THS or not, sells the gear by stealth marketing that our friends buy that keeps you on top.... 'Nuff said.
