Wow, the Track Cyborg was released in July and it already has 90 reviews on bowlingball.com! That is saying something!

That's a lot of staffers putting in work.
I'm surprised we haven't been buried with it here as well.

It appears to be a marketing ploy by Track to give the impression of the ball being amazing. Ball may be amazing, but most of these reviews are by bowlers who have done only one review.... the Cyborg. And many are one sentence long.
Very similar to the Motiv reviews. I personally like Motiv, however, their staff program rewards reviews on certain sites. I don't like that method of marketing as much; makes the reviews lackluster and meaningless.

All major companies pay per site you paste a review on. The amount varies. They also pay you for videos as well. Essentially, if you do the reviews and make a video, the ball is free for the staff member. Which is a nice perk as not all staffers get EVERY ball for free.

I'd be down for that and wouldn't half-ass it either

EBI put a lot of marketing into the Cyborg.

I bet Wi gets a case for free! #legendstatus

If I was Motiv I would give him more.

I love the ball. Best one in the family I've thrown in a long time

90 reviews and they all say "baby paradox" fits between the Paradox and Legion perfectly, that's pretty much it. What about the Paradox Pearl for that? Probably going to buy the Cyborg nonetheless but come on now.
-
the paradox and paradox pearl are very similar in hook potential. I only have the paradox pearl 1 weaker than my paradox. They are that close. The cyborg on the other hand is a good 4-5 weaker than both paradox balls. For me it's extremely versatile on where on the lane I can throw it. I wasn't particularly fond of the legion solid although I know a ton of guys that really like it.

I didn't realize they played so close to each other. Have you had a chance to compare it to the Dark Legend? (Hybrid not Solid)

No the only black widow I have is the red legend solid. I have not thrown them side by side but I would venture to say the red legend would be between the cyborg and paradox. I typically have good success with the red legend going straighter whereas the paradox and paradox pearl allow me to open up the lane alot better. I do want to pick up a dark legend I've seen alot of guys use it alot.
