I have a Cyborg Pearl which I have been liking a lot lately. I have recently won a Kinetic Emerald. From what I'm seeing they are very close. My pso said he would be ok swapping if I want. So my dilemma.....should I drill the Kinetic or find another piece. Can anyone compare or confirm if these might overlap?

Kinectic is a little cleaner than the Cyborg. I have both but I have the Cyborg at 3000 abralon and the Kinectic at box. I don't think its worth having both without surfaces changes...

IMO, the cyborg pearl is longer and stronger
The Kinetic is weaker, but corners very hard, it's a unique motion
I don't swing the Kinetic as much, if I can stay out with it, then it's money.
If I have to go away from the pocket, then it runs out of energy and I can use the Cyborg
You could easily have both, as long as different layouts and surfaces(mentioned already)
It all depends on what holes you may have in your arsenal

That core in the Kinetic is a beast so I would drill it. The Kinetic is hybrid weaker shelled and slightly lower diffed so as long as the layouts aren't the exact same you should see a good deal of separation. Even if drilled the same, surface will also create even more separation so itll be a good step down

Thanks for the feedback!! I'll discuss a different layout with my PSO, and likely drill it up. Lately my "go to" ball has been my Cyborg Pearl, and wanted to avoid a different ball and have it be a 2 board move from the CP. And most important....it's a sharp looking ball!! LOL
