Title: Deciding Which Ball to Get
Post by: andreselby1 on December 08, 2016, 12:57:43 PM
Hello,

I am looking to get a bowling ball and now I am down to two choices.  Either the Track Cyborg or the Track Cyborg pearl, which just came out.  The problem is that I am having trouble deciding which to get.  I found out that the Cyborg has less distance but more hook while the Cyborg pearl has more distance but less hook.  I bowl with a 130 average and I have a stroker/tweeter style.  I always place my foot on the first dot from the middle towards the left side since I am left handed.  I usually throw a 15 pound ball.  Can you guys maybe give me some suggestions on what I should get?  Thanks!

Since I can't watch you bowl, my suggestion is to speak to your pro shop / ball driller. He should know your style and be able to help you for the best choice.

for a beginning bowler, the Cyborg would be a better choice in my opinion
it should be a bit more predictable depending on surface choice

Since your starting out it seems, pick the one u want. Let your driller adjust it.

The cyborg can be polished, the cyborg pearl can have the polish removed...

Being a lefty I'd assume you'd preform better with the original cyborg. There is less traffic on the left side...you'll need midlane versus back end...

Agree with your assessment billdozer since I'm also a lefty,  I would also go Cyborg as well.
