I've noticed that several of the larger on-line retailers no longer list this ball under their Track options. Has it been discontinued?

more than likely it is, but i hope not.
just checked with track.
according to track they are discontinued.
we had a real good run with that ball.
-
I thought that it must be, but I am surprised. All opinions on it were that it was an excellent dry lane ball. Maybe it just didn't sell well enough?

actually, the ball sold rather well in our area, last season many house's had new meaning to the word dry.
i am sure track will bring out a new version of the same ball. it seems you need to do that to keep the balls fresh.
but that ball was around for a long time. well over a year on the shelf.
that's a lot today.

HEY FASTTRACKERS!
At a seminar that Del hosted I attended I asked him about the Desert as well. He said that some people said it was good for the purpose while others told him that it wasn't a 'true' dry lane ball. This is probably why it is being discontinued. I'm sure with the mind of Del that another ball will come out from Track as the next 'dry' lane ball. Stay tuned folks! God Bless You All and have a great week!

I believe Del had a hand in designing the old Dick Weber Legacy/C for AMF around 10 years ago. I'd love to see that updated, it was one of the best dry lane reactive balls ever.

I got an e-mail from Del Warren today telling me that they are discontinued but there are still some available. He offered to hook me up if I needed one. Big kudos to Del and Track!!!!

Picked one up for a $100 drilled at a local pro shop yesterday. This ball is the best dry lane ball period. By far the best I have thrown on dry.
