Dessert Heat vs. Slate Blue Gargoyle
« on: June 26, 2005, 04:13:37 PM »
I don't have either ball, but I'm in need of a ball for dry. Right now, I struggle the most on dry lanes. I bought a D/T Barrage for dry (short pin stacked in palm, I read reviews and this seemed to be what a lot of folks had success with) but the few times I've tried to use this on dry, it was way too strong.
I had a lot of folks recommend the Slate Blue Gargoyle, but due to being overseas, I went with the D/T 'cause the Gargoyle would've run me about $90 MORE than the D/T, and I thought it would fit the bill. I know many have had great things to say about the Gargoyle for really dry conditions.
Now that the Dessert Heat is available, is it weak enough so as not to hook too much on the dry? Honestly, I hate dry lanes right now, because I really lack the equipment to score on them.

Current Arsenal:
Animal
Xception 5.0
Rule
Barrage
Plastic

Also have, but not currently using:
Ult. Inferno: polished
D/T Cure: polished
Original X
D/T Particle Pearl
(These will most likely see Ebay soon, except maybe the Cure)
