Grit on Machine?
« on: November 06, 2006, 01:59:52 PM »
I cover on my Machine is showing some wear and losing it's tackiness in the track area.  I've got some Reacta Shine I've used on my Storm equipment that works well at bringing my 1500 grit polished Super Sport Pearl back to box.  But I'm wondering if the 1500 grit Reacta Shine polish will work on the Machine.  Does anyone know what the box grit is on the Machine?  It doesn't list it on the Track website.  I don't want to mess up the ball by shining it up too much.

Thanks,
Clint

The website lists it as compound-polish. Compound is usually a Clean N Sheen finish which is 1000 grit. So, my guess is 1000 grit polished.
