EMB XF

I finally got set for my hand. I have had one for over a week and had to wait for thumb slugs to be delivered. They arrived today and I threw one in.

HUGE backend reaction out of this ball (drilled 4x4). I was not expecting it to cover so many boards. I was also suprised by how hard the ball HIT. I did not leave a 10 pin in the 15 games I threw with it tonight.

The house where I threw it has dry backends, so you can expect movement, even from a polyester ball. However, I had to stand about 6 boards left of where I had to stand with my Icon.
All I can say is that this is a good ball. I cannot believe that more bowlers have not tried it. If this was the weakest ball in the EMB line, then I have to get my hands on the solid.

I told you it was a good ball.As for other bowlers not buying it probably had to do with the other embs that actualy had the emb wieght block that a lot of people didnt like. The wieght block in the x/f is completly different from the other two.But yes it is an awsome ball.

This is interesting, last night I was running late for my mens league so on the way out I grabed my equipment and left. When I got to the lanes and noticed that I grabed the wrong balls for this house and happened to have the emb x/f in the bag.So I figured what the heck I would try it any ways 299,269,219 788.I never throw this ball in here because of the short pattern and screaming backends.I noticed in practice that when I was coming up the back that I had a good read with it so I played it and did nothing but strike.I use my carbide bomb most of the time in here because of the early read that I need to take the wet/dry out of play.It goes to show you never know when mistakes will benefit you.
