Yeah I'm back again after sharing my thoughts on the Deuce.....I figured this time I'd talk about a REAL mans bowling ball....
This will be a good one for all you die hard Track fans out there........
I was kind enough to receive this Enforcer from my good friend JS, and I'm glad I finally caught up to one.
The ball is 16 lbs, has a 2-3" pin out distance, virtually no top weight after drilling, and is laid out 5x4 with pin under ring finger for control.
A few years ago I would have never believed ProTraction/Plus TEC was a particle coverstock, especially a high load. This was waaaay before I joined this site and started getting my education about this sport we all love. Anyways this coverstock is a true beast on any Track ball and I wish they were still using it. It's by far the only particle cover I like, and could be considered my favorite. Dull it can handle the heaviest oils, and polished up every ball I've seen had a tremendous backend movement with little loss of traction in soup. It just made the break one to two feet later.
My Enforcer just rolls down the lane, with little top weight and a normal sized pin there isn't much to push it. That is a great thing for me because I can and usually do use it on a fresh heavier oiled wet/dry house shot. I can shoot straight up five with increased speed and watch it pound the hole, or I can belly it out from 12 to 10 and watch the ball wreak havoc on the pins.
When the lanes dry out this ball needs to be put away because it is still a particle ball, and by that very nature is very friendly with dry boards. When there is enough head oil to use the Enforcer and the backends are dry I can send the ball out without fear, because even though it only rolls the Enforcer will flare a some boards off the dry.
My favorite part of the Enforcer has become some sort of a quest I'm undertaking. I'm in search for the hardest hitting bowling ball ever made, and I may have just found it. I've used many different ball from many different companies and NO ball and I can't believe I'm saying NO ball ever scared my competetion before the Enforcer. Not Lane #1, not Visionary, and not AZO.....this is a true monster on the lanes.
The Enforcer can be drilled a variety of ways to maximize it's potential. The original owner went with a 4x5 label drill to give it the most backend. I didn't need that because I have a Super Carbide drilled up for that.
Overall any Track fans in general should try to find this old gem because it is WELL worth the money. I went out and picked up five more Enforcers from other users here I love mine so much.
