Power Machine video (comming soon)
« on: November 09, 2006, 07:51:03 AM »
Topic says it here Track fans!

I'm getting my Power Machine from asb-joe soon, and it's drilled 5 inch pin to pap, and mb in strong position, for more length and a hard backend.

Now i need your help FastTrackers! What should i do in this video? I'm hoping to get some footage maybe this wednesday. I will throw any type of shot you want. I can stand pretty much all the way left and throw the ball all the way out, lol. I will throw any type of shot pretty much, except up the gutter line, lol. If you really want, i'll throw one complete game, with NO EDITING and we can see how that goes!

Give me some ideas

Hey Kenny,

I've got guys I'm coaching that are throwing high performance equipment at his age. The stuff is matching up rather well to them also. I can understand what you are saying though.

Hey Brian,

Dude, seriously...take some time off and let your wrist relieve itself...Kenny is right, you are still growing and things are going to change...you have all the time in the world to practice...I was doing what you were doing at that age, and heck its all I'm doing now so go figure...but just take your time...you'll notice your best scores come when you are 100 % healthy! God Bless You All and have a great week!

Okay Michael, i'll try to, but it's so hard not to bowl when that's the only thing you love to do :-/ .. i'm thinking one game tomorrow, and a short clip, and that'll be it right now.. the bad thing is i got league saturday, and i can barely hold the ball with 3 fingers.. so i thiink i gotta get my ol trusty pink 14lb house ball and go 2 fingers to do the trick, LOL seriously though, that's what i do for my backup plan if all doesn't go well. i get 170 and above almost for all 3 games, lol, so that's still hitting my average at least. i can't take a week off now. my average is right wear i want it.. but i don't know. like i said maybe 1 game tomorrow, and a short clip, then i'll be good.. Thanks everyone

Hey Brian,

Calm down! Seriously...look, I know how much you love the sport but when it comes to staying healthy...that is the most important thing...tomorrow if you throw that one game, you could be out 'indefinitely' and that would be really bad for you...just take a deep breath and let things heal properly dude...you will always have time for bowling! I promise! God Bless and have a great week!

Yeah Brian,

Listen to what Mike has to say. He is very informative and really intune to today's game.

How long have you been off since the last time you bowled?

I use to be the same way, 13 years old, and had my thumb almost coming off. I was too into the sport, and wanting to get higher scores. But as I realised, the scores were getting lower because of me trying to cram it while being injured.

Just relax, chill out with your family, and enjoy life.

Hmm.

What I'd do is keep icing it, still if you don't have pain, just ice it for 20 minutes, and 30 off, and keep doing so. The more bloodflow to where you are hurting always lets you healed quicker.

To me, I'd say try it out whenever you felt good about things. When you are not hurting anymore and at full potential.
