Power Machine Video

The shot was left over from a bunch of open play.  Typically my house shot is good center oil, drier from 5-10 with lite hang outside of that.  The length is 32ft buffed to 40ft with good backend finish when clean.

For the videos, I had a ton of carrydown.  You can see this from the 2 shots with the Equation where I tug one at about 12-13 and it just stays there all the way down.  Actually guys, I tugged one and left a 5 pin...lol  That's how much carrydown was present.

Even the Mean Machine didn't just scream back like normal because of the carrydown and here is another vid to show you the lite hang at 5 out.  It also shows that this is not a "super" wall.

The Power Machine is actually much stronger then it appears in this vid.  I'll try and do more when I can catch a cleaner shot.

Looks like the Power handles oil better than the equation also. That ball looks like a monster! I would love to see it on a fresh pattern with a clean backend.

Is it stronger than the Mean?  What type of oil is it for?

Hey Rickster!

Thanks again for the neato videos. I really liked the separation between the 3 balls. I am actually scared to see what the Power Machine would do with little or no carrydown. It would probably make a huge left turn huh?

I noticed how your Mean had a heavier roll, just what the Dr. ordered for when you encounter more oil.

The Equation you were able to move right and close up your angles.

3 diff. looks with each ball and the shot at your center is no gimmee from my experience bud! Keep up the good work and see you soon.

Hey Noy, the Mean is stronger by definition but this stems back to my explanation of how much conserved or stored energy a ball can retain and then  released is what dictates it's backend movement.

The Power Machine skids much easier and stores more energy so it can hook more so long as there is some friction down lane for it to hook from.  If the lane were completely flooded, the Mean would out perform the Power.  Hope this helps explain some...

Hey Rick,

The Power Machine seem like a polish Mean Machine to me. My polish MM react and goes long like that and the backend is the same as your video. The polish MM can handle carrydown too.
