Title: EZ Money?
Post by: loose5682 on October 15, 2004, 04:17:29 AM
Couple of questions about this ball as I have one coming soon...

Is it similar to any current Track offering?  (Or any Brand X offering for that matter...)

Anyone throwing one currently, how does it match up?

Would this ball be decent for carrydown?

Is it flippy/rolly/etc.?

Thanks much ahead of time!!

Andrew,

I have seen many different layouts on these balls and every one of them I have seen has been "rolly" in frong part of the lane and strong arc "snappy" in the back of the lane.

The coverstock on the ez money was said by many at the time to have been Track's version of C300s muscle coverstock that was on the original Icon.

Rolly in the front and somewhat arcy in the back, but still strong nonetheless.  So basically I can put whatever drill I want on this thing and it'll still be rolly and arcy...is it a stronger ball or is it more for mediums?

andrew,

It is not quite the ball for heavy stuff. Its best condition is probably the higher side of the mediums, or the lower side of the heavies.

If that makes sense*L*

It is actually pretty angular with a lot of head read too!

Think of the La Nina with a sharper backend!

Very good medium heavy ball.

great core that was also in the Virus series from Nuline(track) and then a low rg varient in the Revmaster

Hey Andrew,

I'm with Ex again on description of this ball.  Had mine at a 4x2 if I remember correctly and it went a lot longer than expected.  For the player with a little stronger hand, it should fit right into the med/med cond, maybe even a little toward med/lite if you back off some.  It pushed thru the fronts pretty cleanly and with my layout gave me a strong arc.  It also revs like mad, I think you'll like it.  Hope this helps...

Awesome, I think i'm going to drill it up just like I had my Freak drilled, pin under ring, cg kicked out a little bit.  We'll see what that brings about.
