Finally!! Unleashed is let loose

Not a bad 1st night with this baby, 278-191-206 for 675 which is a good number in my home house. Havent tested it side to side with the original yet but it sure looks longer and sharper at the break to me. Didnt know a 14lb ball could hit like that either!!(the seller must have mistyped the weight in the ad i saw for it!!) I might have gotten this piece and the Freak-A-Zoid about 2 yrs later than i should have but im glad i got them eventually.

Adrian, when I went to Del Warren's clinic last October, I was contemplating a change to 14 LBS and I figured I would ask him what difference it would make. His answer? Zip. Nada. Nothing. No loss of hitting or carrying power because of the aggressive nature of modern cores and coverstocks. Del felt that if you were throwing 16 lbs, you were basically lugging around an extra pound for nothing, but if you just felt more comfortable with it, so be it. I've been throwing 14s ever since, and I haven't noticed any difference from the 15s.

Yeah this baby is 14lb exactly and it still goes of the deck behind where the 8 pin was if you hit flush. You may get that weak 10 sometimes but other times the different deflection you get compared to something heavier will kick the 6 into the 10 on that 'off' hit.

Banged out a nice 244-243-245 for a 732 set with it last night, highest in the house for the year so far!!(although my buddy knocked my 278 game off the night before, 279 with his Black Ice Zone!! aghh!!!)
