Drilling help Please....
« on: June 22, 2006, 12:26:40 AM »
PAP is 5" out and 1/4" up. Just ordered GP2 with 2-3 pin and 3oz top. Have a Big Time OOB finish with 3-4 pin and 3.0 top pre-drill currently drilled with pin under ring finger and CG out at 45 degrees with weighthole to bring side weight to 3/4oz and top weight ended at 1/2oz. Want to drill the GP2 to handle more volumes of oil on longer patterns. What is suggested by the Track Legion here?

Hey Charles,

What kind of ball reaction are you looking for buddy? I can suggest a layout based on this easier for you depending on what you are wanting out of the GP2! God Bless You and have a great week!

I want it to start up sooner for a strong move to the pocket on heavy oil. My Big Time sometimes skids too much in extreme oil.

Hey Charles,

You can do a 4.25x4.25mb with the pin 3 above mid line.  This will layout will still get you down lane a little easier with a good strong backend reaction.  The GP2 is naturally stronger than your Big Time so we don't really need a super early rolling layout. If you want a specific reaction, just let me know and I'll get back to you, thanks.
