Difference between the Heat Blast and Heat Remake

Who has both of these, and what were your comparisons between the two? Is it necessary to carry both?

the blast is a much stronger ball, both in backend reaction and over all hook. it will easily cover more boards than the heat, while the heat is smoother and and more of a rolling ball

Exactly the opposite of what I was thinking for me...

The Blast is smoother, but covers more boards while the Heat can be very angular on the backend. The Heat clears the heads better then the Blast as well.

You've just said the exact opposite thing and agreed that it is the truth.

different strokes for different folks, my blast has more pop on it than my heats, but its probably due to layouts, my speed/rotation is also different from clints i'm sure. i think he was agreeing with the fact that the blast is stronger, and had a different view of reactions.

Oops...I was at work, read it quick and got the balls confused...

Sorry

Clint

I stick by what I said as my Heat Blast was much smoother....

I have both.  For me they play nice with one another.  The Blast in my opinion is more aggressive of the 2.  I can always count on if the Blast is hooking too much then the Heat will play the same line prefectly.  Probably one of my favorite 2 ball combos of all the equipment that I have ever owned.

The question isn't why do I throw all Track, it's why don't you.

Hey Buck, what's up bud?

The Heat Blast is definitely stronger overall for me and can handle a little more oil comparatively.

To justify having both balls or to see a certain amount of separation would depend on your overall hook.  If you hook the ball a fair amount, there should be a visible reaction difference between the two.  However, if your overall hook is minimal, it may only give you a 2-3 board variance.  Hope this helps...

Hi Rick, what's new?

I had the Heat Blast drilled today. I will compare it to the Heat Remake tomorrow. The Heat is drilled 6 x 4 1/2 and the Blast is drilled 6 x 3. The Ramake has a 3 inch pin, and the Blast has a 5 inch pin.
