Well, after fumbling around trying to find the right line/ ball combination for my Monday night league (as I have a couple of other lefties that were playing deeper successfully with equipment while I struggled with consistent ball reaction) I decided in the middle of game two to go back to basics with what I do well- playing a down and in line around 6 board on this new 41 ft. pattern. Last year I had to play the lanes with a small bend as if you tried to play straight you couldn't carry the corners all the time.
After starting with a 203 between the VP2 and Absolute Inferno, I moved to the Havoc in frame 7 of game two.... proceeded to reel off 17 of the last 18 strikes (a tugged 2-4-7 in frame 6 the only operator error) and shot 247-263 the final two games for a nice 713 start to the league.
I'll never leave home without the Havoc...
