Ball Line up
« on: March 15, 2006, 07:44:28 AM »
I just got back into the game after a five year layoff.  Right now I'm throwing a titanium messenger (I think) and a freakazoid, and I only use Track equipment.  I like to play inside, 16-17 mph, with quite a bit of hand.  I'd take entry angle over consistency anyday.  I like a ball to slid a long way and make a big turn to the pocket.  What I was wondering is what Track balls would you recommend for; (1)heavy oil, (2)medium oil, and (3)light oil.  Also how would you lay them out.  I'm looking to buy 3 balls to cover the 3 oil situations.

Brunner,

Alot of my suggestions are going to be based on my general thoughts. Let us know more about your game: PAP location, approx speed and revrate and if possible your axis rotation and we can assist you in layouts.

For what you want I would set up an arsenal like this:

If you like angle the HEAVY oil ball I would choose would be the machine.

Medium: Arsenal Artillery

Light: Desert Heat

Thanks for the suggestions.  I'm not much into the technical side of bowling so I don't know what my PAP location is, speed is between 16-17, revrate would be med. high, and I have no ides what my axis rotation is.  Sorry.  We don't have very good proshops in the area.  I would be willing to travel 200 miles to get somebody who would work with me to lay the balls out, plus I would by the 3 balls from them.  I live in central South Dakota.
